  1. @vandicus - The way I see it, issue 1 isn't a direct comparison between the monthly allowance and the $20 for 2400, i think it's more about the value that each package he references offers in totality over the course of a year. It's the unbalance that doesn't make sense to me and I agree with the solution. Alternatively it would be great if BioWare offered broader (not necessarily deeper) discounts for subs than they do now. I know I would spend more $$ if the items I actually wanted were more affordable.

Also, providing loot tables would not reduce purchases if the loot was seen as valuable to the players. Nobody wants to pay money for a cracker jack box that has nothing good in it. Just like nobody wants to put coins in that stupid claw machine at the arcade and get no furry pets. Do you think people buy cartel packs for the items they HOPE they get or the items they don't care about getting or are clueless about? Information is power, and to make money you have to show customers that you're providing them with something they want. Providing no evidence for your opinion that subs buy more packs is a perfect example of armchair analysis, so maybe watch where you sling that mud around. ;)

  2. I just ran some tests with biochem adrenals to see if they were worthwhile or not. What I found is that they're pretty pointless for the amount of effort it can take to make them. I'm going to share some numbers and I'd like to get your thoughts.

The test toon was a level 19, sith inquisitor, sorcerer (corruption). Click to see my talents. I ran two tests to see which Adrenal would benefit my healer the most, see the results for yourself.

Additionally, there is a 3 minute cooldown on adrenals, so it's not like you can spam them back to back. The added benefits seem utterly negligible. Am I missing something? Is my math wrong? Why would any bother make these? I think BioWare needs to revisit the adrenals and make them either longer (45+ seconds) or increase the stat buff to a much higher figure. Thoughts?

  3. Expertise stuff is sold (blue quality) from the pvp vendor in the combat training area of your fleet. Higher level items are also available with pvp currency beside that NPC. So far as mods/crap goes, it's not craftable so far as I know, and I probably would by now since I have OCD about those things.

None of this has expertise stats on it until you get to 40+. Where's all the expertise before then?

  4. I've been looking all over for gear/mods that have expertise stats on them for my pvp toon. I know i've seen them before but it seems really rare and hard to find.

Can anyone confirm that Cybertech or Artifice can create mods that have +expertise stats? If so are they recipes you buy or are they usually items you have to reengineer?

  5. I'm about to hit 50 and I'm worried about the 50 bracket after all the horror stories i've heard on these forums.

So, any tips for doing well in the 50s bracket?

I'm going to go ahead and claim all the troll posts right now like l2p, uninstall, re-roll, LOLPVP, and.... bioware doesn't know how to make gaimz.

  6. In the spirit of your PvP system, I would ask for you to forward this little suggestion onto your bosses and payroll director.

Rather than be paid at a steady, hourly rate or a fixed salary, at the end of every day, you are given a nice Bioware fanny pack. When you open it, there's a 1 and 10 chance your paycheck is in there. If it's not there, there's 3 food stamps. Once you collect 30 of them, you can trade them in for the same paycheck a gas station attendant makes.

Does this sound like a payroll system that's going to keep you coming back to work?

    Thread of the year already.

  7. seems that none knows u can buy blue pvp gear? its lvl 118, and can be brought at your capital city (not the fleet), for the republic its a the senate tower next to your skill trainer....

think alot of people dont know this :s

tip : while leveling your toon, you can buy these pieces (costs around 500 each), so when you hit 50 you can have a full pvp gear (blue 118), but atleast its something to start of on, should give you 400-450ish expertise

Hope this helps newly dinged 50, or people planning to make their way towards 50 and start

Hmmm good to know, thanks Jadeor. :)

  8. If you've been playing Immortal (tank) spec in pvp and not having fun, roll full Vengeance (dps) and prepare for a lot more fun. I should've gone Vengeance awhile back, i get so many more kills. Also, heavy armor keeps you from feeling completely squishy.

    the build i'm using: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#1010MZIGMR0uddhRZG00M.1

    1. build rage

    2. wait for savagery Savagery proc

    3. force scream

    4. slam if multiple targets

    4. rinse/repeat

  9. I think most planets have an Imperial Fleet ship that you can take as a shortcut to get back to the Imperial Fleet instead of heading back to your ship and going through a bunch of load screens.

Can we get a filter added to the global map that shows where these are located? They always seems to be located in random corners of the world and I always forget where they are.

  10. This Warzone is terrible, Worst mechanics I have ever seen in my 15 years of MMO PvPing, I have not met 1 player yet that actually enjoys playing this game, It just has fail all over it.

I know its your attempt to make a Unique version of CTF but this is why there is no other version it has been tried and tested over years.

Im in a PvP Guild and Hutball alone deters alot of players from Queing just because of how bad it is.

Also add some sort of rating Warzone about 90% of the ones I am forced to play huttball, cant even choose

What? Huttball is my favorite warzone by far! No way am I signing this petition.

  11. Level 45-50 need there own bracket

All we need is 1 BRACKET

i say one cuz more then one will make it hard for us under 50 to have some fun

So a level 45-50 bracket will be cool and it wont slow down the queo for thos level 50 cuz they will still be able to quoe whit some level's 45 put a list we wont have to deal whit Premade of level 45and50 team's again level 20 and 30's it make pvp more about who have more level 50 then about skill's

SORRY FOR MY SPELLING I hope you can understand

So plz level 45-50 bracket fast level 45 and up need there own little bracket so it take skill

    /signed

Please give 40-50 their own bracket.

  12. It's probably referring to the registration code that comes in the box of your game, brotha.

I don't know man. According to the FAQ:

Where can I find the serial number of my Security Key?

For the Physical Security Key, the serial number is visible on the back of the security key.

For the Mobile Security Key, the serial number is assigned to you when you set up your mobile security key. To view it, launch the app, click the “Information” icon, click “Security Key Information” and the number will be listed under “Serial number”.
