  1. Just finished Ziost @ level 68, by the way the Ziost vendor is now bare i assume it was scrapped along with the othert gearing tokens throughout the game with 5.0.

    So i'm down 2 pieces of 200 rated gear, they are only at 196 so its not a big thing;

My question, what do i do for gear now?

Anyway to finish my 200 rated set off to calm my ocd, or is my next step farming the infamous Cxp?

  2. Asinine morons.

They could at least replace it with a sanctioned way to move wz comms, like a legacy com bank with a 2k limit on both.

Or ya'know, use some gosh darn brains and gumption and revamp the pvp gear, shells for purchase at 20/35/50 along with mods/armourings/enhancements to go with them with the correct stat levels so they bolster properly to max of the tier.

Whilst theyre at it they can also drop the level cap to buy 60 pvp gear BEFORE level sodding 60 (reg only) so people dinging can at least have a few pieces if not full sets of pvp gear which results in a better performance at 60 and a better overall experience for both sides.

Its not rocket science you ignorant sob's, get your heads in the damned game.

    Crying out loud

  3. Right this maybe an incredibly dense question so i apologise in advance;

Are crafting skills universal for both sides (1 crafter on imp side that can craft rep AND imp items)

Or do you need one of each for rep and imp sides?

  4. Recently rolled an op and scoundrel, was going to use them both for healing and leveling primarily through wz and KDY with a bit of planet stuff hither and yorn.

I tried conc spec at low levels, sucked and died like a chump a bunch of times, possibly a l2p issue with the class and spec, tried leth, kind of enjoyed it though found the damage lacklustre with limited skills.

Is healing the only decent option for low level pvp levelling and not getting sick of playing the damn class after 4-5 wz

  5. Are we talking about the same server here? Red Eclipse?

In the past 6 months i have not seen ONE Rep premade and pugs are a 99.99% certainty of a being the capshot ones by imp premades or straight up pugs.

Is there somethign i am missing to pvp on RE beyond "queue for warzone" ??

  6. Having beta tested both those games I doubt it. IMHO based on plenty of group discussions in those betas the players want don't want SWTOR PVP as it is now.

Instead of random selection arenas they want a cross server lobby system so you aren't forced to endure a WZ with all heals and no DPS or any of the other complete mismatches the random selection system creates.

They want Open World PVP that matters not some PVE dailies where PVP can happen on a PVP server. Planetary control of some sort with bases or PVP objectives.

No more gear grinds. Bring back all the PVP gear vendors and have them sell the shells for a low amount of credits from old school Battle Master to the newest gear. Have 2 Tiers of modifications PVP and Ranked and then sell the 2 Tiers of Armorings, Mods and Enhancements. Let the players min/max from the get go not 15k warzone comms later.

Fix bolster! There are plenty of posts explaining why and how it is exploitable.

I've been a loyal SWTOR subscriber since beta and I've seen some good gaming guilds come and go on three different servers. I think it's pretty telling what's left of the PVP community when a PVE server is considered "the best" PVP on SWTOR.

Change up the SWTOR story in your next expansion please. We want to go to war! We want 3 or 5 planets that are not a themepark but a sandbox where open world PVP matters. Please, please make your next expansion PVP based and please listen to what the PVP community has been saying and asking for. I know from first hand conversations with guild leaders that dominated Jung MA and POT5 after launch that they won't come back to SWTOR until a major change in the PVP system is live.

They're tired of the credit sinks. We have what might be the most exciting expansion coming up with guild ships and bunkers yet returning players will see a 50M price tag and won't grind out the credits because its just another carrot dangling andf they're tired of carrots.

A lot of the guilds I spoke to that you lost to Wildstar won't come back unless there is large scale PVP, a more meaningful crafting system (which is a whole other post on its own) and less grinds and more playable PVP content.

    This. Just this.

I have no other words i can think of to add to this except for, if someone wishes to print this post several million times and fill the TOR offices with them to maybe start getting the point(s) across i would gladly chip in.

  7. AMD Quad-Core A8-5500 Accelerated Processor

    3.2 GHz, up to 3.7 GHz with AMD Turbo-Core-Technology and internal AMD Radeon™ HD7560D DirectX® 11 graphics

4 GB DDR3 SDRAM memory with 1.600 MHz. Work effectively due to fast data access and quick changing between programmes.

Thats the meat of a possible pre-build thats on sale at a local store, would it run TOR smoothly on max?

    TY in advance.

  8. Vanguards, as the name suggest, are meant to be a "hard shell," designed to be able to harass at long range, damaging at medium range, and lethal in your face.

All we basically need is increased absorption/mitigation (through skill or passive class ability) that allows us to survive at range and make it to medium or in your face range.

Also, increased damage. If the class is meant to be a tough soab that is meant to get in and around enemy formations and keep them pinned whilst long range DPS takes them down.

Obviously i am thinking of a battlefield situation and may not strictly relate into PVP, but from the way the other AC are designed it seems this is what they originally wanted before other things interfered in its design.

The 3 tress i feel should relate like,

    1) Tank spec, holds the enemy in place as DPs saturates them from long range, would include Stuns, mezzes, roots and slows, probably not all, but enough to hold 1 or even upto 2-3 targets in place in a small area. (In your face range spec)

    2) Medium range dps spec, possibly AOE based, with AOE dots, bursts you get the idea, possible mix of burst/DoT abilities.

    3) DPS tree, mix of ranges depending on skills in the tree, pure dps, lower survival, think current survivability with old DPS potential spread over more skills than the boring 2-button rotation.

Most importantly, they need to decide WHAt they wish the Vanguard to be in relation to TOR lor. Then they can work out the finer points.

  9. CDW what armour are you wearing? i've been looking for a set like that for awhile now, basically theres a Trooper wandering around near the Esseles start point (quest and FP) in coruscant departures and looks just how i think an in your face trooper with big *** armour that can run you over if he doesnt shoot you down, should look like :)
