  1. how about as soon as yu get one character to 50 you get 3 characters already at 50 one per class

    cmon man

Yes I explicitly asked for level 50's of every class just for pressing a button once.... get out.

I am hoping that the legacy system does include something cool and new. I'll have a go with the spacebar skipping (admittedly I only did that at level 49 because I was impatient to get to max level) but we'll see. I still think some exp bonus should be granted, if only to make alternate leveling routes of PvP and Ship combat much more rewarding and viable.

Given the one profession maximum per character, massive xp boosts for alts would be bad for the economy. So I don't support any bonuses. That's not to say there aren't bonuses. If you're like me and have multiple alts with multiple professions and the ability to make customer gear and all mods, powerleveling is a pretty quick process.

Slicing already makes the economy weak. If everyone leveled with slicing, or had it on their main, for example, then they can generate infinite credits without having to take time out from normal playing. Also, while you may personally level faster, your professions will still have to level at the same pace. The only extra speed you would get is having more companions and slots to send them off sooner.

  2. This is totally, 100% not needed.

You don't have to repeat any content you don't want to. Just do the story line quests and then do PVP and Flashpoints if you want. There's so much content in this game you can easily skip entire planets without losing a step.

Warzones don't give enough exp unless you can unrealistically win every match. And since you're leveling and at a disadvantage compared to higher levels, your ability to influence the WZ is diminished. And running a flash point 20 times to get to the next flash point doesn't sound very appealing, especially considering the extra time coupled on to it finding a group.

Gah, why do you need more experience? If you're a completionist, you already can skip two whole planets (I wish it kicked in fast enough that I could skip Taris).

Glad you found that. however until the last imperial planet I found I was either underleveled or just right, and I did every quest and bonus I could find. I wasn't so lucky finding people to do Heroic missions though.

  3. Yes I want to go faster. I have played the story, and now I want to get into some proper PvP and PvE with another class so I don't burn out quite so quickly. Compare it to reading Lord of the Rings in a week, and then rereading it again over the next week, and then maybe rereading it once more the week after.

I don't have quite as many hours as I used to in a day and it get's a bit disheartening when I can only go up 2 levels in a night, and then suddenly realise I have 18 more to go and I ask myself if there is much point.

Why would I want faster leveling? The leveling is so fun I don't want it to be over with that fast. This isn't WoW.

I am glad you like the leveling. It is why my idea involves a toggle so if you wanted to, you could level at the normal pace.

there is already this in game, the legacy leveling.

Chars from level 1 xp this up.

Considering the Legacy system doesn't do anything yet, it's kinda a moot point.

  4. I quite enjoyed leveling my main but the thought of doing so again, having to go through all those cut scenes once more, is one making me reconsider it.

I propose an option that becomes available somewhere when you have at least 1 character that reaches level 50. This option will grant you 200% experience from missions, mob kills, PvP and ship battles etc. if you do not have a level 50 of that class, or 400% percent experience if you already have a level 50 of that class, regardless of faction or server.

    Example:

I have leveled a Sith inquisitor Assassin to 50. I start a Mercenary. I have the option of 200% experience gains for that character

I change my mind and decide to level a consular on another realm. I have the option of 400% experience gains for that character.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the story lines, but like any book I have been through it once recently and have no want to go through it again. At least give an option to do this, so people who want to replay the entire thing again can if they want.

I personally would like to try leveling a toon solely through space battles or PvP (and the respective class story missions) but currently the gains for these modes are too small to make them viable.

  5. While I am enjoying the SWTOR game, I am thinking that it is possibly stifling its own community. Currently it is pretty difficult and/or time consuming to form a group for pretty much anything. Even as a tank, I sometimes leave fleet being unable to form a group for a flashpoint.

Anyway, this thread is about the heroic quests. I think it's good that they are in here; in an MMORPG people should be forced to socialise. If they didn't want to, why are they playing an MMORPG? However, it is getting difficult to get groups, let alone good groups, for the 4/5 heroic 4 quests per planet.

My idea is to have only 1 or 2 long and engaging heroic 4 per planet, and to downgrade the others to heroic 2. This way you still get the option of doing really great difficult quests, and since they'll be quite long chains, able to keep your group, but still be able to get some of the other smaller ones done without having to wait 30 minutes to get a group, or, worse still, find that you've done the entire planet and still not done your heroic 4's, and have to abandon them and leave (which has happened to me already a few times).

  6. You do realise that SWTOR hasn't officially been released yet, and what you are complaining about is a bonus Bioware didn't have to give you?

Sad that people these days have a false sense of entitlement.

And just to make some of you whiners feel a bit better, I received my pre play code about 30 minutes ago, but my internet isn't due to go up till the 17th. Yet here I sit, patient, fully in the knowledge that inevitability is a good concept to trust in.
