  1. Yeah the problem 3 years ago was people took advantage of the transfer bug which overlapped legacies ontop of each other so whatever other server you were on in that server group when it got merged it stacked and bugged into more prestige even though each extra is only 2 per still that's quite a bit if you took advantage of it and it even went above the 999 mark as well I have 1050 for some and only had one character on one other server which I never knew what happened till a few days after it happened when people realized it was a bug which i guess they never decided to fix.
  2. Yeah I guess that is why SWG is dead and buried, and SWTOR is still on life support...

Swg only died cause they agreed not to have 2 SW mmo's at once, Swg would've lasted alot longer, also Swg never became F2p at all during its lifespan of 8 1/2 years.

Only took a year for Swtor to become F2p.

  3. Some people have 1.8 million prestige. I am gobsmacked. I have almost everything and I'm at 500k - they must have all the decos, and most of them up to 999/999

Probably since they transferred to more servers before the merge than you did, cause it multiplied by how many servers got merged into that one. Housing is dead for collectors, and legit prestigers alot of people quit over how sloppy the transfer went.

  4. I think one of the biggest player errors is the belief that has come into being that "subs aren't worth it". The irony is that subs are cheaper than F2P overall, because the cash shop unlocks and services end up a lot more expensive.

The only way to avoid that is to not make use of the cartel shop but then you'll never get a full experience. All F2P games have restrictions. So you have a choice to play with those restriction but a sub is the cheapest way for players to lift such restrictions.

Somehow players have a hard time doing math and are so focused on getting stuff for free but a company has to make money somehow. I've played some F2P games. By the time I got some inventory unlocked and a mount I already spent 40 bucks...that was one character.

Players can be their own worst enemies sometimes.

They also couldn't handle a simple server merrge without having to copy legacies ontop of each other which made alot of collectors and legit decoraters quit
