  1. sounds like another 12 x XP thread.

Been suggested. A lot. Unlikely to ever happen.

This is different, though. it is more like what other MMOs do. Side missions are supposed to be optional objectives that give you more equipment or a slight edge over the NPCs that you have to fight at the time, not a requirement to complete the story.

  2. Fortunately there are several alternate means of gaining XP that will allow you to avoid those pesky planetary side quests. Whether or not you choose to engage in those activities is entirely up to you.

I would not hold my breath waiting for a "light speed, easy mode, fast pass" means of leveling, though.

Except even with those, you still have to repeat them a ridiculous amount of times. it causes the game to get stale and people to quit. Playing the Black Talon or Warzones for the 250th time starts to lose its entertainment value.

  3. I think that the leveling system should be changed. Right now you need to do just about every mission up to your level in order to continue the story. It is fine the first time, but on subsequent playthroughs it is a pain. I think that the leveling rate should be changed so that you can complete the class story by just doing class missions (perhaps with certain legacy perks like the class experience boost, but greater). The side missions should be focused on providing gear, mods, and extra experience for those that wish to be over leveled for the content. That way players could level up more characters and have a wider variety of specializations for end game content.
  4. I think it should be a HM version followed by Nightmare and then after a while an even higher, more difficult mode (Master = Jedi, Lord = Sith, Fett = BH, General = Trooper, Spy = Agent, Solo = Smuggler) with better drops and rewards each time. It would kind of be like a New Game+ or even if they allowed cross server legacy and a New Game+ where you can alter appearance if you want and have the new toon be a child to the original but you get a copy of all the stuff and levels you have from your old toon to the new toon.
  5. What role are you playing as? I am usually a tank or healer and the ques are almost instant. My DPSs though have a little longer ques but not too long. I have had no really bad experiences except one the other day where one person quit a minute in to Hammer Station so then everyone started to quit.
  6. If you try to pay one time for stuff you would lose out on FP, WZ, and I think space missions. If you read the description you only get in increase in the amount of FPs and WZs you can play and then you need to pay again and if you don't use them all then you need to pay for it every week. and a lot of the stuff that subs can get like legacy unlocks only subs can get. and free players can only be on one server.
  7. I think we got a lot. I am happy with what is here and I plan on playing for a long time. And to the people complaining about lag and crashing they fixed the only crashing I have seen and I am playing on a computer that was a low end computer 4 years ago and I have little to no lag. It is an Acer Aspire x1200 if you want to know what computer I have.
  8. You will just need to call CS. I think it might be because you bought the 180 day sub so you would have sub status for 180 day then you will become F2P. Don't think that just because you only played for a month that you don't need to pay. If you only want to play for a month then you need to pay for the 30 day sub not the 180 day sub.
  9. I would purchase a Lifetime subscription as well but its bad business from the developers standpoint. If you get a 200 dollar lifetime sub, instead of paying 15 a month, than after about 14 months. So they could have you playing the game for six years and only make 200 off of you, instead of ~$1080. Now imagine if even just 1,000 players chose this option. Over 6 years, 1,000 players getting a lifetime subscription would make then $200,000. 1,000 players paying 15 a month for 6 years would get them $1,080,000. Its just too big of a difference and poor business.

Again, if they made it available, I would be all over it. I just understand why they would want to avoid it.

EDIT: Just wanted to factor in, people would then talk about the Cartel Market is where they would make money off of you... Well, you get cartel coins every month so I would imagine over 6 years you would have gotten a ton off of free cartel coins as well. So they won't be making much, if anything at all, off of you.

    ^^^

I would want a lifetime sub too. I love this game and if I spent $250 once then I would be inclined to buy CC more often (I currently only spend the free coins). I understand why they wouldn't but maybe they could do a sale for people who have been a subscriber since launch. It would then make all the people who truly love this game happy and they would still have the other people as subs. I know some people would think that this is unfair, but if they continuously leave the game saying that you unsubbed or you think the game id "dead" then they shouldn't complain when BioWare rewards those who stick with them. Another thing that they could do is after X many years/ months then you can buy a lifetime sub. Maybe it could be every 5 years or something like that. Or you can only buy it if you have been a subscriber from launch and haven't unsubscribed.

  10. Also if i purchase 1500 coins a month how long before i have all the licenses of a Subscription player?(No really i don't want to do the math someone else do it for me LOL) .

You can't get unlimited access it just boosts the amount of FP or WZ you can do for a week (resets after a week of IRL time) so to answer your question, never. Really being a subscriber is the best deal, because you get everything and you can spend your monthly CC on stuff for show rather than paying $5.00 a week for 3 more FPs. If you think $15 is too much maybe you should find another game to play, but think first. If you skip going to a movie or out to eat one time a month you basically pay for your subscription.

  11. No, it isn't normal. I would recommend leaving the area and calling your companion or try calling a new companion then switch to the one you want. iIf that doesn't work try logging out and logging back in. If that doesn't work I would suggest submitting a CS ticket. Also make sure you aren't in a group and that the companion that you want isn't on a crew skill mission.
  12. I actually owned the Acer X 1200 when I first got this game... you CAN upgrade the graphics card... BUT you will have to modify the case (as in cut it) because its so small that most cards are too wide to fit in it. Honestly even after that the CPU and RAM are so slow that it bottlenecks the speed anyway. I went out and spent about 600 bucks building a 6 core AMD processor with 8 gigs RAM and a Solid State Drive on a ASUS board all in a new case... I already had a Graphics card and power supply so all in all about 800 bucks or so for a sweet set up that runs the game on max graphics. The Acer X 1200 will hold up for a while with a new Graphic Card and PS... but like I said you need to physically alter the case and it runs very hot with more stuff crammed in it, so expect a lot of crashes and shorter lifespan of the hard drive / CPU.

Then do you think that it will run games like skyrim and dragon age 1&2 with at least console graphics?
