The best spec to get the most overall damage is Full Sab. Your hightail it bombs and your aoe fire pit thing bring massive numbers. Also with the sabotage ability you can get back to back hightail its and a cool head every 45 seconds (or w/e the cooldown for sabotage is). For ops bosses, any boss that has a pretty large hit box like the 2nd or 3rd boss in SnV will grant higher parses than full SS or Hybrid. On humanoid bosses though it would be a little tricky to match a full SS parse unless you get real lucky with the bombs. Unlike others who will be in full sab then change to hybrid or SS for certian bosses I tend to stay in full sab just because it is a fun spec to play and even though on some bosses I parse lower than in SS I stick it out.
Oh I see. I'll have to try it then. I only found out that the DF spec was no longer a high DPS spec and was reading through here. I'll have to play around with both the hybrid and the full sab spec. I don't know if I'll get used to adding hightail in my rotations as I've only used it before to get away from mobs.

Is there a link somewhere to the sab/df hybrid spec? I've been sort of rummaging around the forums and other sites. I can't seem to find one and when I do, the spec's been reset to unused points.

All the more reason I think the devs have royally screwed the pooch with the incoming damage profile of the tanks. Shadows just get exploded on with high damage attacks where the other tanks can just soak it without much worry. That big of a difference between the tanks is something that *really* shouldn't be allowed to persist.
Has there been any talk or hint from devs that they may rework the mitigation on shadows?

After 5 months being away from the game, I came back to a lot of changes. Servers have changed, some mechanics changed and people that I used to play with have left. Sanctus took me in and gave me a chance to show what I can contribute. In turn, they've shown me what they can give back. I don't regret a second of it and I'm here to stay for good.
