  1. Hey all,

     

    Recently, we have had more maintenances than normal. This was compounded by our update issues last Thursday which led to over 10 hours of maintenance. Thursday’s issue along with the extra downtime have impacted all of our playtime, and they especially are bothersome when you consider how much XP and CXP you lost from the Double XP/CXP event was running along with the over the top CXP for Daily Areas. So, to make sure your characters can take advantage from both, here’s what we going to do:

     

     

    • Since the Double XP/CXP event ended on Tuesday, we’ve decided to bring it back earlier than planned. That is, we had scheduled to make it available in December around the holidays, but it’ll return with the launch of Game Update 5.5. That will give you another full week to benefit from the event.
    • The Daily Area bug is also going to stick around for a few weeks. As Eric mentioned in another post, our plan was to fix it next week in another patch, but we’ve decided to hold off any changes until Game Update 5.5. I’m personally leveraging this as a means of playing my other toons and raising their Command Rank to 300. Honestly, it’s been a lot of fun seeing so many other players taking advantage, too.
      • It is very clear everyone is really enjoying higher rewards on the older Daily Missions. As a result, we are exploring some options such as increasing CXP values above their base rewards, making rotating daily objectives worth high bonuses, and more. We will let you know where we land on these discussions, but one thing is for certain, higher CXP values are very motivational.

  2. I don't think that the daily area CXP concept should be the outcome of today's downtime. While many of us have level 70 characters not everyone would benefit. The extension of double XP/CXP actually benefits all players regardless of their level/rank/sub status.

     

    Ultimately this is your choice. As a sub I'm not worried, but I want everyone who lost time today to see how much the Devs care. I need a strong player base so this game can continue to exist!

  3. I have seen this come up quite a bit in the thread, so lemme tackle it! We don't really have the ability to extend it with the patch today. To put that change in now is risky and could create some issues, which we certainly don't want more of today.

     

    However, Keith, Charles, and the team are highly aware of this request and talking about what options we have for this. It may not be today, but if we can get something done around this, one of us will let you know!

    This solution, even a 1 week extension or another week put in the schedule, means the most to me. I lost a full day of playing today, and while that's not the end of the world I would appreciate the consideration the week would show the player base. I'm a teacher so this week is a sort of "last hurrah".

     

    Also: thank you for keeping the lines of communication open and considering our input. That is truly an important part of my choice to remain a sub.

  4. I'm experiencing an issue in Solo Mode. As I moved through the train I would randomly find myself in combat without any enemies for me or my companion to target. Being an Agent I was able to stealth drop the fights but it happened 3 times. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but wanted to share just in case.

     

    EDIT: In the FP Vet mode now. It's the Turrets. We are aggroing them from INSIDE the train. Please look at this!

  5. I saw your message the other day, but needed to follow up with the design team. Definitely a bug as the crafted relics are using the wrong stats. I confirmed we'll fix them in Patch 5.3. Also note you will not need to remake your relics, so hang on to them and we'll apply the proper stats.

  6. This is a fantastic question! Keith, Charles, and I discussed this and we want to make sure we are really thorough in giving you the full picture on how feedback is gathered, where it is gathered from, and how the team uses it. What we are going to do is turn this thread into our discussion topic for the week.

     

    Tomorrow, all 3 of us (Keith, Charles, and myself) will make posts highlighting how our job roles interact with player feedback as it relates to the team, decision making, etc. Then we can have a conversation about feedback in general.

     

    Great question, now it's a rabbit hole we are going to jump down together! Look for our posts tomorrow.

  7. We are monitoring, but as someone pointed out, there are a lot of questions and we may not directly address each one. For the most part, if the topic is about something in the roadmap or our plans, this is the right place to ask those questions. In some cases, we will take it up in our weekly discussions, and in others, just address it right away. With respect to longer term plans, if we haven't already discussed it openly, we likely will hold back any real response until a later time.

  8. Hello, I don't post often but I read a lot of these threads. I have been playing since closed server testing (Founder and all that). I was a Tarro Blood original server toon. I love this game and I play every aspect.

     

    I am for mass server mergers. I agrees with RPers that they will need their own server. I want to be able to play my story and group Content. Regularly I have to wait quite long to pop vFP, GSF and even PvP at times. Current server is a shadow Lands.

     

    Shout out to Keith and Musco: the last few months have been a huge improvement in communication. I deeply appreciate the effort since April. Thank you for your work.
