April 23. Still bugged....not good as this is (or is supposed to be) a story progressing mission :/

Let me begin by saying that I'm not a rich man, and that the small pittance I receive each month from the lord of the lands where I am bound to serfdom doesn't go very far. You can imagine, then, what $15 a month means to me. I can barely feed my 19 children, and yet I put my faith in BW to deliver a product that could at least distract me from my grim existence for a few hours a day.
This faith was sorely misplaced.
My son, Little Timmy (yes, his first name is Little and his middle name is Timmy) can only play SWTOR for 1 hour a day, because he spends the other 23 hours in the coal mines, shuffling through tiny passages with his miniscule arms, all for black lumps which fuel the fireplaces of London's wealthiest citizens. When he came home today, Little Timmy couldn't play SWTOR... and it almost broke his little heart. I don't have the guts to tell him that ranked warzones weren't deployed, because when he finds out, the tuberculosis rotting him from the inside may finally snuff him out.
We were promised the world, and what we got was an mmo with the same vanilla problems that ever other mmo in history has had, and I think to myself, how can these monsters live with themselves? Hmmm? HOW???

You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt

"free to play" basically means no monthly subscribtion fee..
Usually it ends with the player paying more than they used to per month to play the game though,since you have to pay to do all the worthwhile stuff and/or remove limitations..

The funny thing withy this video is that it's, no offence meant with this but the video is very "american". Playing on emotional reactions from ppl " with no script" ye sure... Jack surely had no script xD
I wonder how well this video will work in EU where emotions isn't incorporated in advertisment as naively as it is in USA. Again no offence but this is how it is. USA uses "make over" and "emotional mountains" to create hype and make ppl buy products. In Sweden actually you can't do that both out of issues with laws and ppl don't buy this type of propaganda.

On my first alt i levelled biochem, bioanalysis and diplomacy as i levelled up. Upgraded my starship at every opportunity and had no issue buying speeder training
Stop buying **** from GTN while levelling, that is mmo 101. Only use it for selling stuff until you're 50 and you'll easily have enough credits

When I dinged 40,I had accumulated 260k from my questing/levelling.
Cost of training all skills at 40,including speeder 2: 350k
So saying "just stop buying stuff and you'll be rich!.." is wrong ,simple as that.

Why do people want everything all the time?
Without choosing the money-generating professions and if you are continually crafting, it is unlikely you will have the amount needed at 40 for the speeder and everything else that comes along with it.
You have to compromise. Ease up (or stop) on the crew missions and crafting from about 35+ and your money from loot and mission hand-ins will rocket your balance.
Then get the uberomgspeed* level 40 speeder training then start up your crafting again.
Cant have your steak and ice-cream on the same plate people.
* this is sarcasm

I repeat,I have spent nothing on gtn,or crafting,only repairs....All I have done is follow the qustline that has gotten me to 40...and I am 90k short ,just to get all the skills aI can train (including speeder2)
And to me thats means the price is too high

Sheesh, money is really, really easy to make in this game.
Apparently not easy enough,since I'm 115k short for training at level 40....without spending anything for 40 levels...

Ilum PVE dailies alone will net you around 800k a week in creds... so 300+k for speeder rank 3 is very in-expensive.
So how do I get those quests on my level 40? do tell...

I just hit level 40 last night and have about 330K.
Admittedly I still have two rows of inventory space I haven't purchased, but still, I don't see how you're not swimming in credits.
I also hit 40 last night
Never bought anything while levelling,and I had 260k
Now I'm still missing 90k for the last 3 skills I can train...
Not to mention the 25k for a speeder

Hello all, I have seen a massive amount of complaining on this forum and just want to say this. While I have not reached max level yet due to real world obligations, I think this game is wonderful and the storylines are what I would expect from Bioware. Save a few issues such as profession glitches, I think this game is worth the money and hope that patches will continue to add on to the greatness.
Come back when you have been 50 for a month...quite possibly your opinion will be changed alot by then;)

Just curious, but do you drive your car through the mall or the grocery store? Do you teleport to work? I'm thinking probably not in all three cases. Imagine today's airports with folks driving around inside in their own flying speeders.
As far as interstellar space travel -- if it takes a couple of days to get to the moon, how long should it take to get across the galaxy? True, TOR is a high tech world but to get from one planet to another in less than 5 minutes isn't really a time sink.
Regarding having to kill mob after mob, if you have suggestions for quests that are interesting and worthwhile and don't involve shooting something or gathering something or running here, there and yon, please post it in suggestions so they can incorporate it into the game.
Just curious,but when you are going to work,do you go out of your way every day to slaughter 20 people with your gun or lightsaber? since we are bringing "real world" into this?
