If you have cross server you at least have a better chance of not running into the same Premade that just beat you 6 times in a row.

Early DAoC was the last meaningful pvp I saw in a game.

I was one off the first 700 weapsonsmith crafers on my DAOC server. I was still level 10, yet maxed out. Everyone in their 40s was running around with my weapons. When I logged in, I was deluged by tells. The other 690ish weapons crafter was furiously trying to craft over me, but couldn't close the gap because I was willing to spend more time crafting.
I killed more players than anyone else in that game. At level 10. Because all of the Celts were armed by me.
That will NEVER happen for anyone in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Now comes all the posts from people who don't normally craft telling me how great their style of play is and that I should like it.
While I enjoyed DAOC's crafting and game play it was not for everyone and I have not seen a crafting system as well done since. And the DAOC crafting was purely money driven so you had to either have a guild supplying you money at level 10 or make a nice markup on items to craft.
I like how they are doing crafting in this game so far. If you want to go out and collect resources you still can. If all you want to do is craft you can sit in the cantina and mange your crew crafting while you read a book. Which is pretty much what you did in Daoc and Wow when you were crafting.

I agree. Loving the game. Someone will be along to tell us we are deluded and list why we should hate this game.

Of course if you allow free transfers the pvp crowed will be up in arms. They like new servers for fresh even start. Kind of lose that if a level 30+ transfers in and dominates.

On launch general forum will contain the following posts:
1. This game was released 6 months to soon.
2. This game sucks compared to game x.
3. They did not open enough servers give me a free transfer to new server. In a few months the post changes to my server has too small a population so give me a free transfer.
4. They lied to me so I am starting a class action lawsuit.

You need to cancel your preorder like I did. Put your money where your mouth is.... and not only that.... ask that they do the right thing here and allow EQUAL ACCESS for everyone... reset ALL SERVERS on the 19th at 2359.
In SWG we did have the servers reset after 24 hours. In wow we had six+ hour queues and if you were lucky one of the servers that was down for a couple days at a time.

Reasons?
1. They never planed to actually pay for the game so the head start is all they have.
2. They are rolling on a PvP server and want to be top dog to avoid / inflict griefing.
3. They have nothing better to do then troll while they wait for an invite.

Lets takea step back here...
All I am saying is Eve has a great SPACE COMBAT system. And the size of the Eve Universe is huge. Does the story line for Eve suck? yes..
I am just talking about Space Combat and Space "interaction" (for use of a better term). Thats all..
Eve is built around ships and ship combat. Ships are a work in progress in this game like walking around stations is a work in progress in Eve.
Is this what pvp has come to?!
