  1. All you really need to do is open up all of the XP boosters in your legacy for each character you lvl. There are 6 lvls per category.

    You’ve got :

    WZ pvp legacy booster

    Flashpoint legacy booster,

    Exploration legacy booster

    Space mission legacy booster

    Class story legacy booster

    GSF legacy booster

    Maybe more??

If you open all of these, which costs about 2.2 mil in total, you can play anything and get a substantial boost. Add a character bound XP booster or CM xp booster and you lvl very quickly.

I understand the other methods of boost. I just think Bioware should add them to the Collections tab or something. I'm more concerned about deleting a piece or heaven forbids I delete a toon that has the whole set

  2. The DvL gear with the 3, 5, and 7 piece XP Bonus increase

Bioware, now that the gear is just a shell and no stats, can we Create/Buy a new set for alts?

The stats on the gear use to be enough to get you by. Now you have to mod them and its difficult to pass between alts when leveling. One day I want to be on my level 23, the next I want to be on my 50.

  3. I have payed dearly for a stash of Ops passes over the years in the event I might need to drop to preferred.

Each pass (I have 36 of them to cover 15 alts) has cost me in the vicinity of 1-1.5 mil credits off the GTN over time, and as of 5.0 it appears they're worthless, the only reason I do most Ops is to gear my alts.

BioWare has a way of punishing senior players by deleting earned progress or devaluing their saved resources - comp affections, devaluation of high end mats, starting from scratch on gear w/each expansion...etc.,

And now roughly 50 mil worth of Ops passes are worthless.

Having invested hundreds of hours into advancing my alts & their comps, each new expansion amounts to the deletion of past progress and time spent working to gear my toons doing the same content all over again.

1 - 1.5 mill??? Not that much of an investment that I can see. couple hours at best

  4. Is this something that will be a reward for being subscribed from January 11th to August 1st, 2016 only? or Is the reward early access to Shroud of Memory? As in maybe subscribers that missed that window will be able to play it patch 5.1 or something.

In order to be eligible, players must have completed Alliance Alert: To Find a Findsman and Alliance Alert: Arma Rasa, have completed “Chapter IX: The Alliance,” and must have been a Subscriber from January 11th to August 1st, 2016. Eligible players can start the Mission from their ship's Mission Terminal.

Seems like a lot of development work to restrict to a small base. I get it if they don't allow anyone else from being able to do it, just clarifying.

    EDIT: Re-phrasing Question

  5. I get it. I like the challenge too. I know this is a "People" issue and these can be completed. I've done them in the past when there was incentive to do them. It just seems that these few are just a bit too much for the majority.

I don't mind wiping 10 time as long as I see progression. That is kinda the fun part. But when you have so many groups that fail before they start or don't even want to attempt them, that's bad. It is only these few that it happens in. And if the only way to truly get them accomplished is to get really lucky (after sitting in GF for 30min) or incentivize a group to go, that is not good either.

Also, this event is only here for a short period of time. It's my feeling that the only reason people are running HM FP's are for the DvL. I can run OP's and get better gear than HM FP's and its easier. As time goes by, there will be a diminished pool of people wanting to queue for HM FP.

I'm just a numbers guy and I know I only have a very small sample of data, but man there has to be a low percentage of HM FP starts vs. finishes on these.

Again, i'll keep plugging along. Maybe convinces any of the 30 guildies on to give it a shot.

  6. Yea Yea...Get Gud! I did it on my lvl 50 naked and all that. I've heard it all before.

    Blood Hunt

    1. The Knock back on the brother and sister are ridicules. unless you are in the center...Buh Bye! If you are in the center, it targets everyone with the red circles and you have to move out...and boom, kicked off platform!

    2. Guildies don't even want to attempt it anymore.

    3. Pugs break up at start

    Korriban Incursion

    1. R-9XR/I5-T1 extermination mode. wholly jeez the damage, I haven't had a group (Guild or Pug) who has had it at less then 10% HP. Adjust the timer a bit

    2. 6300 HPS with 5100 effective and its not enough

    3. Every time I pug, it's at this boss

    Lost Island

    1. Can't find anyone (Tank) to even attempt it. every group falls apart at the starting dropship

    2. I don't even know what the issue is. Never seen it

Now I've finished these but with wipe after wipe 50k repair bill after 50K

    Depths of Manaan

    1. Lightning dude needs to reduce damage when tank is in grey stuff and takes a hit, or remove the stun. You can only use your "get out of jail free card" every so often.

    Battle of Rishi

    1. Shield Squadron Unit 1 - The hit zones are off. I can clearly be out of the blue circle or the blue lines and still get hit. Becomes more of an issue for melee

Some of the other issues are non 65's in these...Bolstered or not, you don't have all your skills.

Sub optimum gear. I do believe in Skill > Gear but c'mon 178 - 190 gear. for the majority, that is bad and selfish

I don't know... I have 4 HM FP's left to do. I'll just bang my head on the wall and see what happens. Just hoping for a bit of help

  7. You're now trying to ignore the red note in the launcher about the "slow patch downloading" and pretend that it's a bad PC/connection. It wasn't a problem on MY end, it was a problem with SWTOR's system. Here's a picture since you seem to be oblivious: http://imgur.com/SiptUpr

It's quite obvious that you just keep trolling and flamebaiting. More fool me, I fell for it. Thank you for adding to the toxicity of the community and ensuring that I will not be renewing my subscription.

Never said that there wasn't that message. No proof needed. Deleting the game and reinstalling would have been faster. You just hate the fact that you negativity is what is toxic for you. Just because you are getting angry on the forums doesn't mean you are being trolled. You can't accept that sometimes things don't go according to plan.

I'm glad you can put your money where your mouth is. Good luck with your future gaming, May the Force be with you, always!

  8. You can't play on a server while you're still patching a game. Surely you didn't miss the Slow Patch Downloading note emblazoned on the launcher? Or the numerous threads and posts about patching being stuck at various degrees. In my case it didn't even finally finish until around 10:40 Eastern. 10 and a half hours over the scheduled maintenance time.

Also, since reading comprehension seems to be lost along with your empathy and understanding, maybe you should notice that 14 and a half hours downtime is more than 1% OF A DAY. You missed that didn't you? "the game has been down more than 1% of the total time today." Instead rushing into condescension land.

As to overall downtime, add up all of the maintenance and crashing and you'll easily see that it's around 40 hours. Of course, you're not going to do that, because you've already decided that the game is great, BioWare is great, and clearly anyone with any sort of criticism is only deserving of scorn and derision.

Again, you're veering way off topic. I've been patched and have been playing since 4 , that extra 4 hours is on you. Sucks to have a bad PC/Connection. You want to keep coming back here "trying" to make a point that doesn't exist.

The reading comprehension is your failure. No where did anyone say 1% of the day except for you. and that is a pointless argument. You are so angry at the true statements that I made, you've twisted what I said to meet your false logic.

You have already agreed to scheduled maintenance, so why do you even bring that up as Downtime. You know its part of the cycle. They have not been down for nearly 40 hours due to crashes. Exaggerations only go so far

Today is a slight inconvenience that you are trying to blow out of proportions. Of course I'm defending them, they produce a fun game for me to play. Obviously you hate the game and Bioware. All they are doing is trying to make the game the best they can.

People like you come here daily and berate them for something that is completely normal and is expected from time to time. Why don't you try and help make the game better instead of complaining all the time. Your negative energy is not needed on this site. Go play Fallout 4, you seem to be done with MMO's anyways at least until Blade & Soul am I right?

Look, all I'm doing is making you more angry. I wont respond any more as all you are capable of doing is rehashing the same thing over and over. Have some fortitude and let your money (or lack of) tell Bioware how much you dislike their service.

I think there are people waiting for your stuff in the mail

  9. Still patching. 7 and half hours and counting past the maintenance period. Over the past 30 days, the servers have been down (especially if playing on Harbinger) for around 40 hours. That's not 1% total down time. Even 7 and a half hours past the maintenance window, the game has been down more than 1% of the total time today.

You have no empathy. You have no understanding. You have no basic math skills. You're insulting people who expect that a company deliver the service that they've paid for. So, yeah, I'm not surprised that empathy and understanding are completely lost on you.

Again with the word empathy. You expect someone to empathize with you over a video game. Grab a piece of reality.

I'll give you credit that Harbinger has gone down a few times, but 40 hours? C'mon bro! I'm on Harb and have not been affected once. I'm usually logged in on weekends and weekday evening (Prime Time). You have 0 data to back up any of your numbers. And with you exaggerating on how far over projected they were, your posted numbers are not valid.

I know 8th grade math is hard for you, I'll let it slide, I know Common Core is screwing everyone up. It looks like you are right some of the time, but most of the time you're just close at best. The server down time was scheduled from 5am - 9am. Servers were live again at 3:07pm. That looks to me to be around 6 hours. All information pertaining to this information is in the link below. (Looks like you're lost)

Just incase you forgot what you said:

7 and half hours and counting past the maintenance period

    http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=853046&page=83

Go ahead, tell me how $0.02/hour is not the about rate of what subs pay for game availability time. I'll even break the math out for you...again. (Still Lost?)

Based off a 30 Day month:

    30 Day * 24 Hours = 720 Hours

    $15.00 for 30 day

    $15.00 / 720 = $0.0208333 or 2 cents

As for your precious lost hours:

    6 over scheduled hours

    6 / 720 = 0.83333333%

    Hmmm, less than 1%

Looks like I understand pretty good.

Now, back on topic. They are making a good game. They are updating the game, for good or for bad. You have every right to stop paying for the game if you feel that you are not getting what you paid for. $0.50 is not worth complaining over. If it is to you, then send your stuff to a friend and leave. Otherwise, stay in this thread, spin your wheels in the mud all you'd like. It's amazing how many people bite the hand that feeds them, now that's insulting.

  10. I'm not surprised that empathy and understanding is lost on you.

    Nothing is lost

I understand that you are crying over an extra few hours lost to a Video Game

I empathize to no one who's life revolves around a video game. One who needs to have 100% available to them.

You do realize this is a grand total of less than 1% total down time. That's 99% up time. I'll take that any day. I'd pay extra to any service if they could guarantee me a 99% up time

  11. No. I just want what was paid for. Extend the subscription the amount of time that was lost due to the downtime. Pretty simple, no?

    Why the need for insults?

This is a normal part of EVERY MMORPG. Stuff Happens, get over it and move on. I guess it's only insulting if you are one of them. With the Pussifaction of people nowadays, it is needed.

  12. This is unexpected downtime, not planned maintenance. Add in the fact that for the past 30 days, the game has been down for more than a day's time.

Ok, $0.48 then? You want 48 cents for compensation? How about half of a Cartel Coin, does that make the Cry Babies happy? because that's all its worth!

  13. Sooo all day no server and my subscription timer is ticking and ticking... do you plan to give us subscribers some kind of compensation? It would be the right thing to do. :jawa_confused:

All though this is a troll thread

    30 Days = 720 Hours

    $15.00 / 720 = .0208

8 Hours of gameplay is $0.16

The amount of time, or when you play is irrelevant. The value will always be roughly $.02/hour

Are you really ************ about $0.16?
