TLDR; Why don't they just add an Archive where you can watch the cut-scenes and make choices, but with 0 combat and 0 loot that can be viewed at any time?

Actually a TOS is only as good as the law of the land.

 

They still have to provide the service you paid for, namely software that works and runs. I would love to get away with selling people something that doesn't work but with a TOS that says I don't have to provide a working product. Sorry but it doesn't work that way. It is like me saying I claim immunity from local laws because I said so. Doesn't work that way.

 

The fact is if people paid for early access as part of the purchase they should get it, period. If they don't have access then they have the right to compensation in some form. Games developers aren't immune from selling something that doesn't work because they have a TOS.

 

Just to clear something up; you didn't pay for Early Access, you paid for the xpac. They GAVE you Early Access for paying the exact same amount that everyone else did, just alot earlier than they did.

Also to tag onto what I said earlier, a 'Digital Expansion Pack' is just a fancy way of saying DLC (Downloadable Content.)

I understand the 10$, and as I said I accept the reduced scale of the xpac because of it. However, if we compare with wow (sorry but it is the #1 competitor), there are 6 new instances in MoP I think. Divide by 4 (40$ vs 10$), and we should at least get 1.

 

I appreciate the quality of the Makeb storyline (have yet to play it but I hear it's great) however it's no excuse in my opnion. And saying class stories are expensive is a lame excuse too, although I prefer no class stories instead of half-baked ones.

 

Yeah, MoP also cost 40 bucks. The voice acting is not only expensive, like others have stated, but also time consuming. When Swtor gets a real expansion, I am sure you'll see more FP's and Class Missions.

Suddenly after this patch I have a flickering main and minimap. Anyone else have this?

 

This is already being discussed here; there are several other issues that they are trying to work out with a hotfix, the first and foremost being the GTN issue.

I have waited 7 hours for this update to download and install...

and i found my main character totaly screwed in this ways:

1. 2 days ago it was hiting sith 4-4.5k ... now it hits with 2-2.5k.

2. 2 days ago it had enough rage to play the game... now it barely makes rage for 1 hit after 100 assault spells.

 

Considerring i left World of Warcraft for exactly same reason - lame programmers that "destroy" my work cause they want so, forgeting that i am paying them to have fun in my own saga, i think this is the end of our "beutifull" friendship.

In this conditions, i suppose you realy deserve to lose your players for other MMOGs that are free to play and doesn't destroy people's fun on their own money.

 

(I am sure a lot of forum moderators will start against me with childish things like "you lack in skill", but before you do, keep in mynd that i have best skills ever seen for a game, and that is "i pay to play and have fun" and "i am a european customer and i have the right to get the quality for what i pay and if that doesn't happen, i can ask to get my money back" )

1. Did you check to see if your talent points were reset?

2. Did you read the patch notes on Class changes?

3. Just because you are European, why do you think you are entitled to your money back just because you have an issue with 1 Class in the game?

Just to clarify. The main reason Yoda was amazing with the lightsaber was because of the force.

So even though he used his lightsaber, the majority of his fighting was done with the force. As a side note, Yoda was trained as a Jedi Consular.

 

Edit: This is also a game. If you don't like the class, don't play it. If you don't like the game because it isn't hand catered to you, don't play it. This isn't WoW, quit whining on the forums like it is.
