  1. I'm not saying it isn't a welcome addition

    But it isn't. Choosing between no mat. storage and the poorly implemented one, no storage is a way better option.

    At least, you don't have to take out your mats from the mat. storage into character's inventory first before placing them into the legacy storage that way.

  2. I've run around with my Lightning & Madness Sorcs… and everything feels completely broken. Broken past the point I want to play the game. :( And hard ! It's a game not a 2nd job ! :mad:

     

    1) Level sync system is beyond ridiculous. I have a lvl 75 character fighting lvl 17 enemies (Dromund Kaas' heroics; I do them every day on Live therefore I use them for measure) and have to engage a full-fledged fight ?! And die several times ? :confused: Is this still an RPG or not ? :confused: Why ? I'm lvl 75 ! They should die just by running past me !

    What is the point of playing the game and getting levels past lvl 20 now if I can't see/feel the power my character gain with each level ?! :mad:

     

    2) Volt Rush still useless piece of junk. Endless Offensive + Element Convention can help for a little bit, so little it's literally irrelevant, but it's gated with the Operation wall. :(

    And I can't see how any other set can be used. Why add them at all ? :confused::(

     

    3) Force Storm, poor Force Storm, do nothing in this patch. In lightning it can be used to power up Chain Lightning. But the Chain Lightning itself do little to none damage.

    Death Field — do nothing. If you have Slow Mercy, Death Field can be used to spread Demolish and finally do some good AOE damage. So. The only way to have AOE damage as a Sorcerer now is to play in Madness with the Slow Mercy tactical ? So much of a "play how you want" I can sense in here… So so much. :(

    And at the same time : ↓

     

    4) No sets for Madness ? :eek: No, really, there is none !

    And why do you like slow effects on everything that much ? Maybe it's because I don't PvP but I see no reason to have any slow effect in the game at all.

     

    5) At the same time, Unnatural Preservation does not scale well. That dribs and drabs it heals now can't save anyone. And I don't even want to start talking about Resurgence and Dark Heal ! :mad: They could save the character before, I could even heal a party member for a small bit to keep him alive. Now, in 6.0, you can toss them away from the skills bar. :( And with the bots heal got nerfed, it's hard to survive now. Why did you think harder is better and especially why change the old contend - I can't imagine. But the game is far behind the "being fun" point.

     

    My 3rd character is Assassin but I don't even try. The only thing I can say is : I can't find neither set nor tactical I can use. And I don't understand how anyone can use something you offer for the Assassins. Plus, the new ability even more of a joke compared to the Sorcs' one. :eek::(

     

    And finally the conquest's objectives are beyond achievable. With that ungodly expensive crafting, that part of the game is dead.

    Now, how about making the prices significantly lower ? I have no idea how to get 3000 fragments, let alone 5000 and more. :eek:

     

    Just the small glance at the vendors and prices makes me want to drop the game right now. :( There is no point to stay if that would be the game's future.

  4. We also need a specific mods - enhancement - Armor - barrel - hilt vendor that isn’t RNG because my Rage Jugg gets tank drops 90% of the time and they are completely useless for my spec.

     

    All of my 3 Sorcs (Lightnin/Madness/Corruption) got tank gear 99% of the time from all of the sources. Guess, that's how it works. At least for now. :(

  5. This is gonna be a dumb question but are you not meant to have access to your collections on PTS? I just found it weird that's empty on PTS but I still get my mail for a new character (you know, expansion items, etc)

    Yep.

    If I recall correctly, it's because the Cartel Coins/Market/Collections systems can't see the difference between Live servers and PTS. Therefore, if you'll spend cartel coins on PTS, they would disappear on live too since they are all from the same pool. Similar how the lvl 60/65 tokens works.

     

    For the tokens we've got that "Do NOT use Outlander, Start at level 60/65 Tokens on PTS!" thread pinned in the PTS subforum. For the collections etc. they've simply turn that systems off for PTS.

    I have absolutely no clue about amplifiers. I didn't read your amplifier information in this forum on purpose. Because I wanted to test by myself how it works within the game.

    Right now, I haven't found one single bit of information about amplifiers INGAME.

    And you wouldn't !

    Don't you understand what the PTS server is ?

    The game is in early alpha-preview-test-something state ! The help would be written and put in game sometime around October 20, 2 days before the launch. Nobody would create an in-game help during the testing stage we are on now ! That's why you have rely on forum posts.

    So, please, stop going into each and every one thread with your "no in-game help" spam, thank you very much.

     

     

    And, to answer the topic's question, no, I don't know anything about the amplifiers. And… I DON'T CARE !

    Amplifiers are one of the worst ideas of the 6.0. If you won't get rid of them before launch… well, I just won't going to pay attention to their existence.

    Well, not quite. You've chosen the only logical ones. Nobody would use Empowered Restorer set with the Slow Mercy tactical — it's pointless. :rolleyes:

     

    And, yet again, Endless Offensive + Elemental Convection is the only player's option that can make Volt Rush be usable. That lead us to

     

    Nope, the example isn't reflective of an internal philosophy. It is just merely an example to showcase how you could specialize in AoE if you chose by using that set bonus and tactical combination.

    OK. So, if I don't want to specialize in AoE I shouldn't use Volt Rush at all ? Not even put in on my action bar ? Is that your new philosophy ?

    Well then, what a new expansion can offer to me if the only new thing is for a different specialization ? :confused:

     

    And even if I do, what I suppose to do while collecting the set pieces and tactical ?

    Or in 7.0+ (assuming all the doom predictions are false and we would get 7.0) ? Are you going to remade the abilities again ? :confused::( (That is one of the reasons I left WoW, Blizzard can't stop from remaking classes in every single expansion. :mad: )

     

    One thing to remember is that we haven't done balance testing yet on PTS, that will happen in Phase 3 (next week).

    It's not like you can tune the numbers and suddenly everyone's happy. :rolleyes: The new ability is a joke.

    Get rid of the 10 sec. cooldown between Force Storm procs Lightning Storm and there won't be any need for the Volt Rush + Endless Offensive set + Elemental Convection tactical ! :cool: Just do this already, there is no need for some new complicated ability, “charge” system or not. I'm sorry, but abilities should be for players to use, not for the developers to praise their ego. :sy_darkside:

    Valkorion's Phase Teleport would be so better choice compared to the Volt Rush. ;) Accompanied by the ability to freely mark the location for the Phase Walk and/or mark several locations for the Phase Walk and jump between them. :o

     

    And, for Force's sake, can you, please, PLEASE, stop using Force Speed as an opener for various DPS abilities ?! :mad: Does nobody use it, you know, to run faster or something ? Can't you chain damage dealing abilities to the damage dealing/boosting abilities and utility abilities to the utility abilities ? :eek:

    This one is one of a tricky question. Sometimes, things that are clearly materials won't go in. Probably a bug.

     

    Is the way items are displayed in the Material Inventory clear?

    NO ! :mad: Just one big "NO". Even bigger.

     

    A long list with all the materials is the worst solution you could think of. Everything mixed up.

    Make it an X×Y grid and put everything into the Type×Grade table. (Maybe look how Guild Wars 2 has it's crafting storage and make something similar.) Pretty please.

     

    In addition, it's divided by every single skill, not by your main crafting profession. :(

    For example, for the Artifice :wea_03: : you may put all the various colored Crystals and Artifacts from the Archaeology, Gemstones form the Treasure Hunting and Bonded Attachments from the Artifice all in one single page in the storage. This would let you see what you have and can craft for any tier any time.

    Within the new materials storage it's simply not possible. You'll have to constantly go through that list over and over again till you'll find all the components you'd need. :mad:

    No. Just no. It should be the same for all of the players. Or the system is not fair.

     

    So you are mad that you only get out of the game what you put in? Not judging, but in context its important to know why someone would want a specific change to be made.

    And you may stop whiteknighting as well, it won't do you any good.

     

    The game is going to give a lot lot less for the same activity. Plus it would be harder to do things I can do now. Harder to the point of "why play at all", especially since it would give you little to none rewards.

    Why should I be happy again ? :confused:

    OK. They've tune the numbers in the latest patch. Now it would be 150 years of farming per 1 item instead of 300 years/item. Did it help ? :rolleyes: Not a bit… :(

    But you can't ! Within the current PTS' patch : 1 run = 75 tech. fragment. 5 runs — 75*5 = 375 tech. fragments. You simply can't have "over 1000" from that ! :confused:

     

    I'll be honest, I didn't screenshot the prices on Kai Zyken's vendor, but I seem to recall prices that were on the order of 500-2000 tech fragments, not 5000.

    Well, looks like they've toned down the numbers already. I remember seeing 5000 and 500. Now it's 1500 and 375.

    Not a big change for someone who would/can play like 2 days in week for 1 hour/day.

    Well, yet another "look through the story and forget about swtor till the next big patch" accompanied with the brand new "don't bother with the gear" and "the difficult is insane" on top. :mad:

  11. if this becomes a grind, a job, just to do things, what, they think we like grinding? No. We don't. At least, most of us don't.

    Well, ~11,5 million of Path of Exile players have something to tell you about "like" and "grind". :D

     

    Yet it still doesn't make H&S RPG’s gearing system good enough to be used in the MMORPG. :(

     

    I guess, BW sheltered several former Diablo 3 developers after they've lost their job, because we have phones or something. But they can't switch their mindset from one type of a game to another. :rolleyes:

    I've run it 5 times straight (for the achievement). Got 3 items total. You inventory is half-full ?! :mad: Did you really do nothing but playing Hammer Station for a week ?

     

    Yes, i have been on PTS for each phase so far. Seen things first hand and can see first hand that everything isnt the doom and gloom being proclaimed on the forums.

    Yeah. Right. :(

    1 item cost 5000 tech fragments (that's if you are lucky enough to catch the item you need in the vendor's list). The vet. mode gives you what ? 3-5 fragments per run ? :confused: So. How many years should I spend till I'll be able to buy 1 piece of a gear if I only have time to run 1 flashpoint a week ? :( And no operation at all ?
