  1. The toggle idea has been thrown around so many times for previous Bioware games that include same sex content, just check out the same sex forum threads on the BSN for every game since DA:O if you want proof. If they didn't include a toggle in those games they aren't going to start with SWTOR. As a company Bioware has faith that its player base can choose not to pursue any game content that they don't have any interest in be it same sex content, light/dark side choices, PVP, space combat, etc. If a player can't choose on their own not to pursue same sex content without being offended then they probably aren't mature enough to be playing SWTOR in the first place.

    I'm inclined to agree here.

I don't quite understand why the wanton slaughter, torture, occasional child abuse and so on get a free pass but the idea of the odd gay option in conversations is absolutely reprehensible. I also don't quite get why anyone would draw a line between the aforementioned dark side activities and sex in general in the game, whether for your kids or otherwise. Evidently I missed the memo where sex was set above murder on the top ten list of horrible things. But I digress.

Frankly, the idea that a toggle option should be thought necessary is more disturbing to me by far than anything else I've seen lately with regard to any RPG. That's the long and short of it.

  2. It's hard in the sense that you have to use your brain, sure. It may have something to do with my being hell bent on keeping my gear current as well, but I've been absolutely steamrolling through the leveling process (currently 33) as a watchman using Kira exclusively. Everything just dies, up to and including elites, and I've had amazing success soloing same level champion mobs.

Learn your cooldowns, and don't be afraid to use them early; saber ward isn't going to do you one damn bit of good if you're already down to 400HP, for example. Also being biochem helps a fair bit if you're really having issues. Aside from that, interrupt everything under the sun and remember that you do have more than one interrupt... Kick is all well and good, but Stasis and Leap do the job just as well (in most cases) and between all of those nothing should be sliding through. There's more to it obviously (there always is :D) but if you keep that stuff in mind there isn't much you're going to have trouble with.

Compared to some of the nightmarish garbage I had to deal with as an end-game affliction lock over the last 4+ years of WoW, this is child's play. It's also quite a bit more fun, in my opinion.

  3. Watchman played correctly is ridiculously easy. After I got Doc I would end elite fights at 100%.

This. The soloing ability of the Watchman spec is absolutely soulcrushing. You can kill at-level champion mobs if you're careful, and there are no elites that even approach being hard. As to the OP's question, one-shot at 32 using Kira. If you're having problems, update your gear and take a good hard look at how you're using your cooldowns because you're doing something wrong.
