  1. Maybe if there is anything from those sets you want you could mention it because almost everything is dropping from those chance cubes lately.

Maybe it is the rep for rep items but aside from the titles most rep items seem to be available from chance cubes now too though some a permanently bound waiting for a fix so they can be sold.

Thank you for the reply. I am actually looking for the rep items. I haven't personally seen any drop from cubes or appear on the GTN.

I am also willing to buy individual packs at this point, I am fairly close to maxing my rep.

  2. Well, I had hoped to talk my guild into resubbing so we could raid, but that doesn't look very feasible now. Teaming up with friends to attempt challenging puzzles and bosses really is something I truly enjoy - and I enjoy it best when lightsabers are involved.

Eric, is there any way we could get an update on where group content stands in regards to priority for Bioware? I know such a statement might be considered a risk to the subscription numbers, but I think it is more dangerous to leave us without any information, especially after the statement that we wouldn't go a long period without a new Ops again. With the current line up of announcements and bugs, it really does seem like Bioware is stating "We don't care about group content or the players that want to participate in it."

I would much rather know that there would be no focus on group content for the next 12 months (or however long) than simply speculate and fathom worst case scenarios. At least then I could know where to focus my time in swtor. That being said, I would be highly disappointed if it is officially no longer a priority.

  3. They are going to remove Jawa vendors? I have all three in my stronghold and about 300-400 of those token things to trade for mats... ugh... Wonder if they will give me something for those if I forget to spend them all. I like not having to buy mats from the GTN.

I think they are just removing the vendor that allows you to swap your grade 8 mats for grade 9, not the 3 jawas that trade mats for scrap.

  4. Hello again,

The aforementioned bug fix patch has been brought in to tomorrow to address this and some other critical issues. I will have more information on what is being fixed and timing later today.

Thank you for a timely fix!

  5. This needs to be hotfixed today or at the very least, tomorrow! It's gamebreaking, especially for those who's main playstyle is crafting, waiting a week for a fix won't cut it!

I mostly do crafting, so I can echo this sentiment.

  6. Hey folks,

We know you are looking for more information on the timing of future group content. Although I cannot go into any details yet I will say this… We are actively working on a new Warzone, and we are looking to start revealing details in February (Insert my usual disclaimer of all things are subject to change). On the PvE side, we do not have anything specific to announce at this time but we will certainly share more information as we have it.

The team is hard at work on the 7 remaining Chapters in Season 1, as well as additional content, which you will get monthly starting in February. For us, it is important that all of the our content, group content included, ties into the storyline of Fallen Empire and connects to your character’s story. Story is what sets The Old Republic apart and it is important for us to deliver your personal story across all aspects of the game.

We hope that this addresses some of the concerns that you may have. As always, I will pass on updates as I have them. Thanks everyone.

No news for PVE... Unfortunately, this actually validates my concerns instead of alleviating them. I love the story and I think that part is amazing, but it doesn't keep me subscribed to a monthly cost. I will come back from time to time to play through the story, if there isn't new group content, then I don't have much to do with my guild, especially when it comes to progression, or lack thereof.

Story is wonderful and I think BioWare is truly king in that area, but it doesn't have a long shelf life with an MMO since after the first 1-3 times, it becomes tedious instead of exhilarating. What does keep me in the game is tracking rare items, new, challenging group content, and exploration.

  7. Greetings,

I am looking to purchase a guild with ship. I would prefer imp side with a few gbank tabs, but open to pub as well.

I am also looking to buy the following hypercrates:

    Contractor’s/Freelancer’s Bounty Hypercrates

    Pursuer’s Bounty Hypercrates

    Tracker’s Bounty Hypercrates

    Opportunist’s Bounty Hypercrates

Mostly looking to buy with credits, but I do have a Tulak Hord and Havoc set available to take part in trades.

Please drop me a PM or message Tearstorm (Pub) or Tearfrenzy (Imp) in game

  8. Regardless of their actions, they made steps to correct it in a timely manner AND communicated it. I think this a great step for Bioware and if they keep communicating like this, there will be more improvements. Flaming them on the forums will not get the game improved. Honest feedback without insults might (honest, let them know you are disappointed without insulting them).

On the topic of the thread, Thank you Bioware for being communicative regarding this issue and admitting fault.

  9. Thank you for admitting to a misstep Bioware. That means a lot even if I don't like the changes you are making. I understand you have to have a hard job since you will never make everyone happy. I haven't tried out the changes pre-nerf, but I have the feeling it will be a lot more reasonable now if the numbers are accurate.
  10. You can purchase player ship decorations for 5 Dark Projects and 5 Universal MK-3s from the Starfighter and PVP decor vendors on the fleet.

Not sure if there is anything else that isn't tied to guild use only.

  11. Looks great! I am most excited about the legacy bank, but the idea of craftable decorations makes me giddy.

I actually like the initial look of the hook system. I didn't originally like the sound of it because it seemed too restrictive, but if it works out as well as they are advertising, I think it will be a good balance between customization and "I don't want to spend 875512 hours on foyer."

  12. I just got an email advertising the Star Cluster pack as "New in the Cartel Market." I think it is pretty despicable behavior to push these when you know that that you screwed with the numbers and made them behave unlike any previous pack (supposedly this is intentional), and know that the feedback has pretty much been 100% negative.

I had the same reaction when I read my email. Thankfully, only my wife was around to hear my vocal disapproval.

Once again, they have every right to change whatever the heck they want, it's their game. I just wish they would be more communicative about their changes and at least hear and respond to feedback, even if they don't make any changes based upon it.

  13. I am very disappointed in this announcement. Especially announced at the same time as an embargo. In my opinion, this has been one of the best packs in quite some time, even with terrible drop rates.

It would be good to hear more details from the devs on this matter. It seems like there is something mission from what we are being told. That may very well be false, but the one it is being approached has the air of a coverup.

I am by no means expecting the sky to fall or rage cancel my sub, but I am very disappointed and had decided not to buy the cartel coins to get a hypercrate until I heard more about the drop rates. Now that I have heard this, I will certainly not be purchasing one.

  14. They're also used to trash what should be a pretty stable source of income for many. This is accomplished by goofballs grossly undercutting each other or sitting on piles of them for estimated high demand times then all dumping them on the market together.

This is why I don't make much money on the weekends. People will put them up for almost nothing during the peak hours.

  15. I have recently returned to SWTOR and have been considering pursuing these two quest lines as they appear to be interesting. However, I can't seem to find much on the actual rewards besides occasional comms and reputation items.

Does anyone consider these mini-games to be worth the time? And if so, what have you found useful/fun from doing them?

    Thanks!
