  1. looking at the way the lvl 60 PvP gear is done and figured somethign is wrong. The first Pvp gear tier gives you roughly 35-36k HP without augments. Then if you put the best augments in your gear, you get 4760 extra HP. That brings the HP to around roughly 40k HP. If you then ENTER pvp, you gear gets bolstered to 45k @ lvl 60.

     

    Where did the extra 4-5k HP come from? BioWare stated that Bolster will only put the stats right UNDER the first tier of PvP gear. The way it is now, this is not working as intended.

     

    Even lower bracket PvP er not working. I am fully PvP geared lvl 55 Brutalizer Assassin with all augments and in Warzones I get bolstered to 36k HP. Then I look at level 55 Sage etc and they have 44K hp? There is something very wrong with the bolster atm.

     

    Using the Bolterizer on Fleet with my lvl 55 Assasin with 55 Brutalizer gear, I ONLY gain 260 Endurance. All other stas stay the same. Working as intended?

  2. Jesus Christ you people. This thing is 12+ hours away from even being launched and your already ************ about it? Where did you park your TARDIS or other sorts of time-traveling devices, I'd like to see the future you saw so I can join in on the Groaning & Moaning Bandwagon.

     

    If your going to complain about something, at least fricking wait until its released so your ************ at least has SOME shred of validity.

    We have hours logged into PTS and know what we are getting. I can tell you this much, 1 gamemode for a long time will kill the enjoyment of Galactic Startfighter.

  3. While unfortunately most will see it that way, its not releasing with 1 game mode. It is being put in a glorified beta with 1 game mode.

     

    You cannot even call it glorified beta, beacuse they pushed it to live-servers.... This is there 2.5 content. This is the main-release(early-access). It might remind me of how they release the main-game. Just hope they have learned.

     

    Great idea, to little content gamemode wise- customization is amazing.

  4. Most likely they are still finalizing them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were in different stages of multiple game modes and they are unsure what will actually be released and what won't be. Right now we have 2 months until the official release and like the bombers (dulfy mentioned it causing very bad balance problems) a lot can still happen until the actual launch.

     

    2 months of the same gamemode... this will be tough.... shouldent release with only 1 gamemode, can backfire hard.

  5. Galactic Starfighter does not officially release until February. Subscribers just get "Early (Limited) Access" starting tomorrow. Expect to hear about a new game mode in January / beginning of February.

     

    Thats fine and all, tho they havent told us anything about other gamemodes even tho their trailer and webitesite says there are multiple-gamemodes.... Thats what I find hard to understand. It almost feels like they pushbacked gamemodes like they did with bombers.

     

    Just them telling that new gamemode are coming xxx will put my midn at rest, like I said, I want GS to succeed!

  6. I just watched the release trailer for Galactic Startfighter, where you stated "Fight in Multiple Gamemodes". Currently the only gamemode we got is "Domination". Is there an ETA when we can expect more then the one gamemode you release with? Galactic Startfighter is amazing, but after 2 weekends of only the same gamemode it just isent the same as having atleast one other.

     

    Even your own site, http://www.swtor.com/galactic-starfighter says this: "Travel to multiple space locations and fight through exciting battles with different gameplay modes."

     

    I want GS to succeed so much, but only having 1 gamemode for a long time can make it feel alittle repetative, its like only doing Civil War Warzone over and over again.

     

    Hoping for respons to clear up this. We try'd to ask you in the Cantina event and you(musco) just smiled and said you have something, but no ETA. Just dont hope you dont hold it for to long so ppl get bored with only one gamemode.

  7. It's slated for this week, hopefully will will get the information now. I feel like people dident really care that much about 2.3 and only looking forward to 2.4.

     

    btw: PTS got updated with 2.4, but we cannot access it yet, maybe PTS later this week!

     

    As for your question, I am writing up a blog post today (it won't be posted until next or or possibly the week after because it needs to be translated and rubber stamped by my bosses and their bosses and their bosses bosses and their.... you see where this is going :p) that will explain this aspect of Warzone Arenas and more! Sorry for the tease but it's an in-depth answer and best to keep all the where, whys, and hows in one place.

    The blog will not happen this week for sure. Based on our current process of review and whatnot, we are targeting for it to hit the week of August 12th. Now it has a publish week so you can yell at me if that changes. :rak_03:

  8. So your saying you dont want the update from 2.4 to be efficient? why the **** would you expect them to rush a patch and have it work half ***. You should be proud that this game is alive and striving. ive never seen such whiney *** hemroids on these forums.

     

    BioWare will release PvP content rate of 8-10 months per, is that good? No.... We get 0 communication on whats to come. They lie to us, telling us PvP content Shortly after 2.0 - This is why people are raging, we dont get any information and they lie.

  9. Exactly right, Underworld will no longer be the highest tier of gear because there is better gear coming out with 2.2 from the Nightmare Operations. It’s also worth noting that Underworld schematics will require materials dropped only in Operations.

     

    With a new tier to PvE will you also add new tier for PvPers? Or are PvPers going to be 3 tiers behind PvEers?

  10. PvP players! I’d love to be able to tell you more about what’s coming in 2.4 and we’ll have more details to share as we get closer. To be clear on the scope of what I was hinting at, we are not going to get closer and just say ‘huzzah, a new Warzone!’ We are working very hard on larger PvP features that everyone will enjoy but are especially targeted at our more hardcore PvP community.

     

    This is the kind of thing you always do, YOU DONT GIVE US ANY INFORMATION, you just try to smooth-talk with hints of what's to come, your PvP community is shattered by the news of no content till 2.4 and this is what you have to say?

     

    Man up and give us some info to put us to rest.

     

    What ever happend to the PvP content shortly after 2.0?

    "In Game Update 1.2, any level 50 player will be able to queue up for Ranked Warzones by themselves or in a group of any size up to eight players."

     

    "The Ranked Warzone matchmaking system will match full groups of eight against one another, solo players against one another, players with similar ratings."

     

    "We know that the flexible matchmaking and mixed matches are not ideal. They are only in until cross-server queuing is available and are the primary reason Ranked Warzones in Game Update 1.2 are Pre-Season."

     

    Patch 1.2 was released 12/4/2012.

     

    They pulled RWZ at the last possible moment and released it in 1.3, ONLY 8 man teams able to que(still are). The Solo/grouphowevermany feature was pulled. The cross-server queing was never again talked about. We are over 1 year into Pre-Season and still we havent seen or heard anything of what they stated in this blog. BioWare need to respond because 2.4 is far away atm.
