  1. I see the error of my ways now!

     

    All this time clearing HM EC as a pyro and dummy parsing between 1700-1800dps sustained damage I never knew it was so useless...

     

    I shall respec to Arsenal this moment and forget all about the legend of the viable mercenary pyro.

     

     

    But wait, that means I have to give up my crazy burst damage with no requirement to stack debuffs beforehand.

     

    And I'll have to sit on my *** casting more because Arsenal casts to proc an even longer cast while Pyro casts to proc an instant attack, hmm, thought I could move about more than the Arsenal Merc that raids with me.

     

    And yes, I almost forgot, because I don't already have an armour debuff I benefit from my buddies armour debuff which increases my damage in a raid. If I respec Arsenal I don't benefit at all in a raid from more armour debuffs.

     

     

    What Shall I Do?

    respec arsenal of course .. :p

     

    its negligable tbh atm i am parsing 1800+ on dummy as arsenal, i guess its down to the playstyle you prefer

  2. Been trying to get to over 1100 dps on EC HM (let's say the first 2 fights).

    Looking at my parses it seems I have some lulls where do NO damage (maybe during the movement phases?)

    Can anyone provide any tricks or advice on how to dps properly during movement phases or leaping phases

    like the Zorn/Toth fight and the Tank fight?

     

    Zorn/Toth - I usually have to stay with the same mob the whole fight due to melee dps following Toth.

     

    Firebrand/Stormcaller - I am usually on stormcaller and try to have him throw me in to the bubbles (wherever they are). I probably have some issues doing DPS right after the bubble phase and getting back on Stormcaller.

     

    My current thinking is:

    Fight 1:

    - Time the leaps perfectly in order to use an AOE on both bosses

    - Time leaps perfectly in order to cast explosive dart and have it hit both bosses

    - Time circle-phase perfectly and fire off a Fusion Missile just before needing to move

    As a ranged you are probably on zorn the whole fight right? ( apart from kills etc)

     

    If you stand 29.5m( off towards the cliff wall) away, you will not get fearful from the jump....and you will be able to keep sustained dps on Zorn...

     

    As for red circles , HSM, Railshot when not on cooldown, rapid shots, unload if you dare

  3. Just wondering if anyone has had the same issue as our guild or any information on why this would be happening,

    All responses appreciated...

     

    we tried to buy or 3rd guild bank slot today

     

    we have

     

    2,100,188 credits in the guild bank

     

    cost of third slot is 2,000,000 credits

     

    Yet every time our guildmaster go's to buy it .. it says we have insufficient credits...

     

    any ideas on why or how this is happening?

  4. i also have a full set of this armour, but now orange with augment is going to be the way to go.

     

    You cannot RE them (although Bioware was happy to tell us that all oranges can be RE'd from now on in the latest update... they still have no schems , so for now the hydra set sits in the bank waiting for its time that may never come..

  5. Even though i am not a fan of the recent /cough, rebalance on some bh changes, this time the dev is correct and you need to read what he says..

     

    tracer lock has always required 5 shots to stack 5, tracer lock effects Railshot +5%(stacks 6 times)

     

    Heat signature that increase Heatseeker, only take 3 tracers with the skill traited.

     

    Now that said , pls give us our AOE area back with DFA, have u seen the trooper and sorc circle? its insane and they said it was brought down to match the other class aoe skills :rolleyes:

     

    Also we need a very slight up on damage (not mutch i still do ok in PvP and Pve) we just dont seem to be playing our role anymore...

     

    i dont mind being made of glass, i just wish i could have the cannon back...

    Knights 5% buff on some skills

     

    Also Smugglers and Gunslingers +5%

     

     

     

    Coz they were really struggling to kill us paper tigers before.....:rolleyes:

     

     

    as a guild leader and a BH merc main , i have bit my tongue , tried to say to myself 'its not that bad' we were OP in some areas

     

    But its ridiculous.... Nerf after nerft , then a stealth nerf .. then a fix (nerf)

     

    i parse all our raids with Mox

     

    BH now sit at the bottom of the pile even against other classes that are undergeared

    The aoe nerf to DFA ( now Pillow from above)

     

    look at the troopers circle and the sorc's circle on force storm.. they are like DFA used to be so how did they bring our DFA in line with these other classes skills?

     

    they did not, they repeatedly beat us with the nerf bat and just as we begged 'No More' they bought a new bat and went to town on us again.....

     

    Because one or two people in each thread created tells us we do not know how to play our BH's and we are just whining..

     

    Everyone who plays a BH knows we have been gimped beyond recognition, most are having to roll biochem to compete..... we are the PVP free kill now , we used to be an easy kill if 3 or more got around us but we would kick your *** if u charged at us and let us stand still.... The list is endless .......

  7. this is a con , the tick rate change has drastically altered DFA no matter what any dev says ...

     

    if it has been reduced to ticking evey 0.5 secs, then it should take 6 times very quickly ( replacing the original 3 hits at 1.0 secs a tic)

     

    It does not , it ticks three times only ..... first fail....

     

    second fail .... becuase you have made it tick every 0.5 secs instead of every 1.0 secs we now have to roll 6 times to crit instead of three .. ... Fail

     

    third and final fail ...

     

    Because it ticks at 0.5 secs now the BASE numbers are smaller that SURGE is based off

    50% surge of a 600 base hit is a LOT less than 50% surge on a base hit of 1500 ( i appreaciate our surge is a lot higher the % matters not , i am using 50% for easy description)

     

    maths bioware......

     

    so lets review shall we? ...

     

    50% of a LOWER base figure will always give you reduced results, than 50% of a higher base figure even if you say it ticks twice in the same time ( which it does not )

     

    Pre patch i was 1.2-1.5k per target and 2.2 - 2.5k per crit

     

    Now i see three ticks of about 650 each and crits of 1.1k

     

    because the percentage surge is based off a much lower starting figure yes we have lost some dps.....

     

    this is a terrible stealth nerf .....

     

    and my last question

     

    IF IT WORKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS BEFORE....... WHY THE NEED TO CHANGE IT?

    But EPIC FAIL imho Again!

     

    they spend too much money making flashy videos and telling us how awesome the game is.

    instead of reealy listening to the player base.. if they had of listened half the healing nerfs would not be in , or at least reduced,

     

    very dissapointed , our big guild only realy has PvPers left , and i know what a lot of them will do after this poorly timed announcement..
