  1. Vista or Win 7? Being dual core that could cause I/O blocking on the FSB. Also make sure you are running the latest nvidia drivers. One last thing, Always make sure you are running the GPU in high power mode. If the A/C adapter comes out, it will force the Nvidia into low power more (Unless you override it which you may want to do).

Hope that helps. I have the Asus G73J with the ATI 5800 series and the 1.6/2.3Ghz intel i7 and it runs great unless the A/C adapter falls out...lol. Then I know.

  2. There are Pro's and Con's for a Group Summon. It would be nice to have a shuttle dropoff to take us to the Heroic instance we are grouped as long as the quest is still green for you. WoW has this for a reason and it seems to work pretty good.

I guess I would like to see it in game. I don't know that we need it "desperately" though.

  3. In this day and age of space games like Eve and STO (GASP!!!) and SWG/JTLS (May you rest in peace). We were really expecting a lot more from EA/BW/LA. TOR has the chance to be an awesome MMO but this is one of the things that was really disappointing. I finished the first space mission and really was disgusted. I swear I played this video game in the late 80's. Shoot the ships and dodge the astroids. I hope it gets totally revamped in the future.
  4. eh? Wouldn't meeting minimum requirements logically mean you can safely play the game on the minimum setting? Want the highest setting means you need to upgrade to the latest hardware.

Looking at the OP's system I'd say it's graphics card.

Agree. The 9600 was the med level game graphics card. You can try to overclock it. EVGA has a great utility. Nvidia also has their own that works pretty good.

(I am in no way recommending you try OC'ing your GPU and I am not responsible for anything that may/will happen to your system)

  5. There are going to be queues until the 30 days is up on some people. That will help a little. Every new add-on for WoW causes queues. The upcoming Kung-Fu Panda add-on will probably be no different.

The whole "Wave" thing was dumb if it was to prevent this. I mean Come On EA/BW. You are taking a page from SOE and instead of admitting it was a bad idea, you keep trying to spin it as the greatest idea ever in MMO implementations. That right there worries me the most.

There is also the "MMO" that is NOT an MMO issue that has to do with their design. These are all things that didn't get paid any attention because their Beta pool was chosen at random and was too small.

Bet this threat gets deleted or locked now.
