Ok this is probably a dumb question. Im leveling with the focus tree and I put some points into Pulse which is suppose to reduce pushback by 100%. My question is what pushback are they talking about?? The spell seems exactly the same before and after i put points into it.

 

I thought maybe it meant you don't have to channel the ability.

So you are telling me you just don't eye ball your CDS?

 

How do you keep track of you procs? Do you just guess?

 

In a pve enviroment it would be chalening but not impossible to "mentaly" keep track of some of you important CDS. But in a PVP where you can't respect a rotation, because your cooldowns are mostly messed up. Its just impossible.

 

Sorry about the honest answer I am giving you but I just think you do not play the class as its max potential. Just like a lot of PRO videos Ive seen when the sentinel used wrong finishers, spamming ON CD habilites, etc.

 

Lol, I was actually thinking the same thing the other day. I don't even look at the actual fight anymore. The majority of the time I'm just staring at my bars.

I can't speak to whether its hard leveling is in relation to other classes as I've only leveled a Sentinal and a Sith Assasin, but spec wise, if you don't go watchman it makes your leveling much more difficult.

 

For example I was taking on a story level boss as combat spec, no Two-man indication on the quest. I started out with me tanking then let T7 take over when I got low health to try to spread out the Damage between the two of us and still ended up getting destroyed by the boss. I specced Watchman and went back, T7 still died, but the boss easily died and I was still full health by the end.

 

Long story short, the other trees need a huge buff at least for leveling.

ABSOLUTELY go Watchman. It blows the other two specs out of the water.

 

Whenever I'm in a group with no tank I'm always doing the most damage(I can tell because the mobs usually aggro me ).

 

Popping Zen when you have 3 stacks of the Overload Saber dot on your target is ridiculous damage. Hit them with Master Strike at the same time and it's goodnight.

 

Watchman Sentinels are the king of single target DPS in lengthy ish fights(aka vs. elites).

 

Yep I couldnt even take out the elite at the one part of Catching up with Watcher One as combat spec. I died 5 times trying everything from spreading damage between me and T7, using call on force, and a med pac and still got owned. I made it a point to get T7 the best gear I could to tank crap as I level and it still didn't help during the fight.

 

 

Switched to watchman and the guys a joke, I had nearly full HP at the end of the fight. I don't know why bioware is gimping combat so much at low levels. They might as well put a tip you can choose from 3 specs as Sentinel, but choose watchman if you don't like dieing to elites.

Why can't these people understand the game IS NOT officially released yet, we aren't even falling into the 5 day early release window that they previously stated.

 

These threads of people pissed off have to be jokes right? This is all early access, anything before 20 Dec is EXTRA.

 

If servers have issues after the 20 Dec then more power to you, until then, Stop whining
