If this board is representative of the people in the world it's no wonder the world is as screwed up as it is. People claim to have been "slapped in the face", "dissed", "disrespected", all because somebody else got a free gift that they didn't get.
Seriously, Bioware, just cancel the whole thing, don't give anyone anything. These ingrates don't deserve anything.
Ironically, your right. Except it is the attitude you display that is the problem. It's ok, I know you don't understand.

Level 50s are who the game is designed for . Lvl 1-49 mean nothing.
Really? I'm pretty sure the game was designed to be paid for regardless of level.
-
Plus this isn't me being angry. I'm not. I've played too many MMOs and I knew what I was getting into. I feel a lot of them are worth checking out. It's just not all of them are worth going the distance and these reasons are why I feel it's not worth my time.
It's not a bad game. There's some fun to be had for sure. I'm just not interested anymore. And it's not because of 1.2, I felt this way before hand. I just needed to be sure before giving up entirely.
Posting multiple times in a thread you created indicates you do care.

You'll play. that's a lock.

I've not read all this, since I know how opinions differ and there will always be fors and againsts.
Personally, I've quit. I've been umm'ing and arr'ing about it for ages now, but 1.2 has convinced me to bite the bullet and cancel.
.
You limited the content yourself. Good luck in your next game.

Yes, to be fair BW has done a better job than most MMO producers in trying to engage the single player market.
But, the horrible truth is, that even what they have achieved wouldn't come close to meeting the bare minimum expectations of group based players.
In terms of MMO development and production the ubiquitous appallingly bad treatment of single players is the elephant in the room no one dares discuss.
All The Best
Appalling? The Elephant? Absurd. MMO. No.

Beer....always beer....have the cooler next to the chair....have a waste disposal system set as well. Disgusting...lol.

Your friend is correct

Funny stuff. Glad the OP is qualified to "call it"
-
Unless your selling a rare or high end item, I find the spam in general annoying. The GTN is there for a reason.
-
If I remember correctly, there is a guy on the fleet you talk to first before the trainer. He should be by the elevator for Tython/Ord
-
Are you sure you mean level 2? That is pretty low! Just going on one mission should raise it more than 2 points. Max is 300 for reference ...
Max is 400 for reference.....
-
What are you talking about?
Reusables don't get consumed.
In the future, they likely will.
-
Apparently people still can't read so I'll summarize:
The OP in his application told Bioware that he couldn't go. Bioware invited him anyway. Nobody in this thread knows the method for putting people from the waiting list onto the invite list (for example the OP's guild was small, the jerk's guild larger, euro/american).
Wild speculation that in the end means nothing except somebody looks like a total jerk...and I suspect is......

Leveling a new race doesn't change the fact that most people play mmo's to further advance there charachter no rated wgz doesn't change anything and most people DREAD leveling up again.
This is a common misconception.

This maybe the first time I've heard gunslingers as being superior....to anything....

Thanks for sharing.

It is actually related to the level of your crafting skills. I am unsure of what level unlocks how many companions, or if you just have to get one crewskill to a certain point or need to level all three (from experience I think only one crewskill has to advance beyond a given level to unlock more companions crafting at once) to the required level.
It is actually not. It has nothing to do with crafting level. It has everything to do with character level.
-
I believe it's when you get the companion from your class quest, not specifically your level.
This is not correct. As Jer said, it is level related. I dinged 25 last night on a JK and was finally able to send all 3 out (T7, Kira and ship droid)

The only crafted lightsabers are BoP.
So good luck trying to sell them on the GTN.
The fail is huge with this one
-
I think I've figured out what they've done. Someone decided that having level 48-50 missions for too low a character level was providing materials to people who weren't the "appropriate" level range, and quietly just fixed the situation. At level 21 I've run 22 more slicing lockbox missions since my last post, and not a single crew mission reward. Yet my friend who is level 50 is still getting them. Thats not cool at all BioWare. ;(
I still get 340 missions and high level schematics on my 21 smuggler.
-
I'm definately not a huge fan of the cluster that is the GTN. Overhauling it would likely mean more players using it. Another thing, end the companion interrupt. That does drive me a bit nuts.
-
Ones inability to take ownership of their failures easily lumps them in with the masses of societies useless. Your defense of such an action speaks the same. Less a leap, more a hop.
