  1. Hi,

I am a returning player looking for a progression team that is focused on clearing the hardest content.

    A little about me:

Previous Raid Experience - I have played on HM/NIM progression raid teams since launch and have cleared all content on NiM up to ToS including all timed runs. I mostly ran 16 man content as a tank and have several notable kills including world 2nd NiM S&V and DP clears. I have also participated in closed beta testing for TOS and Ravagers although our guild folded and lost too many members before the content went live for us to clear it. I also left the game at that time and am now returning after 4 years off

Class: I am most experienced with a Vanguard tank but I also play a Vanguard DPS, Sage DPS and Scoundrel DPS.

What I am looking for: I have limited play time right now and could only seriously commit to one night a week. Preferably Thursday but I could also make Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday work. I would prefer to start at 8pm PST but could be on as early as 7 PST and able to run for 2.5-3 hours. I have a strong preference to playing my Vanguard DPS but willing to consider any tank/DPS role with the right team. I am a working professional in my 30’s with a young family so I am looking for a team that is able to focus and clear content quickly with a limited schedule.

With Onslaught coming in the next few weeks I will likely not be much help until the expansion gets here. I am currently very under geared as a result of my time away and am working to fix that but with limited play time it is unlikely my gear will be adequate to meaningfully help in the current content.

If this sounds like what you are looking for I would be happy to chat with you. You can reach me on here or in game on Tiik’a.

  2. First of all no Intrepid member has ever accused Hatred of bringing along pugs. In fact none of our guild members said anything to discredit your kill in this thread.

And as for the "ringer" that we used, Board has been a member of our guild for well over a month now and has gone through the same recruitment process that any new player does. When he came to us he had a 75 off hand that he earned while raiding with Sukafish. So you guys got him a main hand and a chest. I think you can put the pieces together and see where the rest of his gear came from. Take a close look at that picture you can see all 16 players in the frame and all 16 players have Intrepid guild tags.

  3. Yeah it's bee a problem for us in 16 and 8 man ops. Tends to effect 1 or 2 people each raid.

One theory is that it is tied to the lagfest going on in CZ-198 right now and if you reset your game after leaving the area you shouldn't have any problems.

I had to reset my whole machine on Monday and that seemed to fix the problem for me.

  4. I left our mumble chat in the back as well. So if you are working on the strats it should help you identify what we were calling out.

Note not all off these videos were our first kills

    Dash'roode -

    Titan 6 -

    Thrasher -

    Operations Chief -

    Olok the Shadow -

    Cartel Warlords -

    Dread Master Styrak -

All videos are shot from a Vanguard tank prospective (enjoy 7 mins of hammer shot circle kiting in warlords)

  5. The issue is not a bug, it is a mechanic that is predictable and easy to counter if your tanks are on the ball.

When he comes out of black bisector there is a 3 second delay and then he casts one of two abilities

    1) Colour Deletion - One random raid member will be targeted with a random colour and a player with a corresponding colour must stack together to avoid the damage

    2) Disinfection - This one is harder to tell when it happens as it has no cast bar but essentially what happens is if he does not cast colour deletion he will target a random raid member and hit them for approximately 90% of their health. If he is not taunted back immediately he will cast a follow up attack that will kill that player. The "bug" that you are referring to happens when he comes out of black bisector and targets someone that was not healed up above 90% causing them to die to the first hit. There is not much you can do about this except to have people at low health use personal cooldowns to survive the initial impact and give your tanks time to grab the boss back.

I hope this helps you understand what is happening during that phase.

  6. We are currently accepting applications for exceptional Gunslinger DPS and Sage Healers. Although any exceptional applicant will always be considered.

    About Us:

Our mission of competing in 16 player operation progression is achieved by maintaining a team of dedicated, driven and considerate players with significant experience in MMO raiding. Our team understands that consistent, focused and professional play is the key to success at the world first level on a limited schedule.

As a team we enjoy a fun, focused atmosphere that has plenty of room for laughs in between boss pulls. Even so, we do expect each raider to adhere to the rules of our Charter and to contribute positively to our raid environment by following our Raiding Guidelines.

    Current Progression and Accomplishments:

As Intrepid has become a collective of players from both Momentum (The Harbinger) and Level Capped (The Bastion), achievements from both guilds will be listed.

4/4 NiM 16 Explosive Conflict (Level Capped World 2nd)

7/7 HM 16 Scum and Villainy (Momentum World 4th)

    5/5 HM TFB 16

    As Intrepid:

    1/5 NiM TFB 16

    6/7 NiM S&V 16 (World 2nd 3-6)

    Raid Schedule:

    Tuesday 6:30 PST

    Wednesday 6:30 PST

    Thursday 6:30 PST

Each night of progression Ops lasts 3-4 hours. Additionally, Sunday and Monday Operations will be offered in order to further our strategy development and get additional exposure, gear, observe recruits, etc.

    Are you a good fit?

We seek professional, focused, reliable players to join our ops team and contribute to our success in progression raiding. Do you know your class inside and out? Can you step into a progression fight with an open mind and an eye for ways to counter game mechanics? Do you theorycraft and study boss fight strategies to play your class to the best of its potential? Can you do these things while still maintaining a positive attitude and engaging in discussion with others on the team?

If you can say “yes” to these and understand the importance of being on time and prepared for raids, we would very much like to hear from you!

We understand that not every applicant has a background of top tier experience in the world’s best guilds. Your dedication, attitude and drive to always improve are worth more to our team than experience alone.

    Trial Process

All trials start by submitting a completed application on our website. Guild leadership uses this form as an initial evaluation and point of contact for follow up questions. Be thorough and make it count! From here we may schedule a follow up interview over voice chat. When accepted, a successful applicant begins the trial process as a "recruit” on our raid team and can expect to jump immediately into scheduled raids. This trial period lasts from two to four weeks in order to give us time to evaluate you as a raider and guild member, and give you ample time to settle in and really show us what you can do. The more willing and available you are, the more success you will have.

We look for several things during your trial:

    · Attitude

    · Class, Advanced Class and strategy knowledge

    · Performance

    · Reliable attendance

    · Participation in discussions and guild events

    · Social fit

Successful trials will move from “Recruit” to “Raider” rank on our team.

Please read over our Raiding Guidelines for an understanding of how we structure our raid time and what we expect from every member of the team. Thanks!

See Tiika or Comeback in game and submit and application on our website http://ntrepid.enjin.com/recruitment

  7. Yeah sorry for the crappy photo the first one I took was with the phase info and achievement However our server forums require loot photos for the warlords as thier is a bug with the achievement tracker. So the idea was that I was showing the loot that dropped. And as for the utc clock I apologize for that one. I didn't even realize it wasn't centred until I looked at the post again when we were working on styrak
