  1. oh nice classy insult that is sure to make your point for you. by the way the part about ignoring the rest of your post your post wasn't what I was responding to nor did I see it when I made that post.

edit doesn't stop you from being wrong up to that point.

  2. No.

    Again, read:

If she was a member of the Dark Council, Marr would have inferred as such.

    He does not.

Instead, he states she REPRESENTS the Dark Council. The wording seems clear as day to me.

    Because of this?

Last I checked, the Imperial Agent is NOT a Sith and as such, it is not his place to question whether Darth Jadus or Zhorrid were apt while managing their respective sphere of influence.

The same cannot be said from the former Keeper and Watcher Two, individuals which whom the Imperial Agent worked closely, regardless of your decisions throughout your class story.

Again, the dialogue is there and it seems clear as a day. If Darth Marr wanted to clearly state she was a Dark Council member, he would have.

He didn't, not to mention he continues to address Lana as a non-equal; she is clearly his subordinate, NOT his equal.

I am quite well aware of your tendency to read what you want to read out of text. I am also well aware of your stubbornness to insist your read is the only one that can be made. though I would hope you having been wrong this whole time about if lana had a title would of made you less likely to jump into the potentially the same mistake. still I am well aware of your stubbornness and I really, really am not going to push this any further.

  3. there are more predecessors than just those two

I doubt we will get confirmation the writers want to play the jadus could be head of intelligence or he could be disgraced and the spot open. either way its clear lana will have the defacto power of jadus weither she technically has the position on the council or not which again I am not convinced of one way or the other.

  4. he says she should have the same respect as darth marr a member of the dark council there for it's likely she is also a member also the best way (though by no means the only way) to represent the council as a whole is by being a member of it.

what makes you think her predecessors are the minister and not the previous heads of imperial intelligence in the council?

at any rate neither of us has definitive proof saying she is or she isn't a member and we are unlikely to get it so I am uninterested in continuing to push this issue.

  5. she is specifically stated by darth marr to have the authority of the dark council behind her to the imperial agent. several here seem to interpret that as being one step down from the council but it sees to fit just as well if she is an actual member.
  6. it always struck me as rather obvious that being uninterested in titles and not going by them didn't equal not having them. but well I wasn't interested in the argument saying so would of generated. by the way I am not convinced that lana isn't a member of the dark council.
  7. In every outing against Satele, Malgus has always come out on top to the point that Satele has needed outside assistance to win. Furthermore, the only time she's ever shown defeating Sith is when she is beating on scrubs, yet Malgus is shown killing at least two prominent and powerful Jedi.

Maul lost to Sidious cause Sidious was more powerful. Sidious was toying with Windu, as evidenced by the simple fact of someone who was so "weak" to Windu he certainly all the sudden regains his power out of no where. Sidious was being manipulative enough to convince Anakin to try and spare him. Again, the premise that Windu overpowered Sidious seems misguided because if Sidious defeated Windu, Anakin would not have chosen Sidious over Windu, and further more Sidious would not have been able to claim that the Jedi attacked him.

Uhh, Maul killed one of the greatest Jedi saberists of all time; Qui-Gon Jin. He did it without even breaking a sweat while Qui-Gon was having difficulty. In fact the entire final victory that Obi-Wan gets over Maul is just plain ridiculous considering Maul had him beat hands down as well. So really, what are you arguing other than ignoring key points of your facts?

wait since when was either qui-gon or maul impressive at anything sword related? 0.0

  8. as this is the spoiler forum i am going to be posting spoilers and will not be tagging them. so if you don't want to be spoiled stop reading now,

i got to say i loved this quest so much first of all the introduction to the quest did so much to make me actually feel like a dark council member. the darkened out portion where role players can fill in the blanks made the briefing of dark council business feel like it was well how ever long or short your role playing wants it to be. and while i doubt the choices it gave you will actually effect your story going forward it was great to have that illusion if you will of making a lasting impact. Further more the info on just what became of the silencer tech is timely and needed.

the actual quest itself wasn't very hard (frankly it was very, very easy) but i felt it was interesting and rather liked the idea that i was gaining life span from it. while i did agree with talos to an extent that this just wasn't the time to be pursuing it my sith will definitely come back to this research eventually to discover the secret to eternal life it is inevitable i am a sith after all.

personally if the cutscene less side plots are the price we have to pay for even more class story even just a single quest like we got this time i am more than willing to pay it.

  9. except it does cover it and it's really, really easy to get that amount you don't even have to try. you don't have to do any trade market wizardry either just playing the game doing quests or flashpoints or virtually any other type of game play and you'll have it in a small amount of time.
  10. That's not the point.

The point is the disparity between unlocks, which is quite frankly nonsensical. This is not a debate -- at least as far as I'm concerned -- on whether it is easy or super hard to get credits on this game.

It shouldn't be at any rate IMHO.

I don't see how your point has a point who cares how much percentage points a price raises as long as its trivial?

and frankly 50,000 is trivial even for a new comer its so easy to raise its laughable that people are complaining.

  11. Yes we old ones have money new ones don't.

Factor on 50K per skill, then Grind that to 500, More Costs. Then Cost to grind crafting skill to 500.

That in it self is a big chunck of money, then add new/more Skill costs to that too.

Should I really need to spend some 3-4 Million just to get up too 500 on crafting and Gather and have to PAY for skills again, this is plain stupied too me, but I will play along for now, but I'm not far from Cancel button tho.

I've been here on Forms since June 2009, Played Beta too, but this is going to far this time.

can you please stop complaining for others sake? if it really is a problem they are quite capable of complaining themselves. other people complaining for others who aren't is a huge pet peeve.

  12. Why would they take a smuggler hideout and make it huge and a full fledged movie featured moon and make it tiny. Did you see Episode IV? Did you find Yavin-4 to be small?

basically this they will be the size that content demands they be and there's a ton more potential content in yavin than there is in rishi. though perhaps they will surprise me with what all they do with rishi i am currently expecting it to be small and insignificant compared to yavin.

  13. well according to the new podcast about 3.0....

The goal of Revan in 3.0 is to resurrect the Emperor in order to destroy everything

your guessing at revans motivations for ressing the emperor no where was it stated.

i personally imagine revan views the encounter going something like this.

revan : hah i ressed you into a mortal body where i can destroy you permanently die sucker.

    emperor: noooooooo

    revan slices him in half.

the rest of the galaxy who isn't insane thinks the encounter will go something like this:

revan: hah i ressed you into a mortal body where i can destroy you permanently die sucker.

emperor: hahaha your my whipping boy fool now come for your spanking and tell me who your daddy is.

    revan: yes master daddy sir.

thus we get why both the republic and empire thinks he has to be stopped while revan him self thinks he's still the revan he's always been.

  14. There's nothing pedantic or trollish in my behavior.

The same cannot be said from you, given the way you came barging in.

i wouldn't say trollish bit you do have a tendency to be pedantic.

  15. personally i don't know where you get the idea the there will be a cease fire i imagine it will be more like wow wrath of the lich king. where both sides recognize that there's a greater threat deserving most of their attention but they still take pot shots at each other when they feel they can get away with it.
