that 73% of garbage players are either garbage pve players like me or garbage merc/sniper players. you cant just say that everyone is good at a game that isnt in the best condition rn because most people playing this game are absolutely terrible RP'ers

Information has been updated for our guild. Our Fri/ Sat team is undergoing some restructuring as mentioned in my previous post ^. It has cleared everything on HM, and some on NiM, but is looking to get some team members to fill the updated roles so that content can be cleared consistently. Another team or two are looking to form as mentioned in the topic, so if you are interested in leading it or joining, please let me know.
We have been on a massive recruitment spree in the past week to become a more populated guild to add more to the social aspect of things. New and returning players are most welcome, and we have many openings for raids on a more casual level, and our known NiM level. Tons are in here if you are looking for a social place where you can do just about anything, and we offer quite a lot in terms of benefits.
I am also looking for people who would be interested in recruiting for all aspects at an officer level as recently we have had so much going on that more people in a leadership position are needed. Again, let me know.

Hello,
I am a veteran player located on harbinger searching for a guild that needs a DPS! I am currently playing both factions right now and both my sorc and sage are in exact replica gear except for 1 relic and a relic. My main spec is madness/balance and I can really only do prog on Friday and Saturday from 8-11 PM pst or 7-10 pst. Here is my Madness parse on a dummy (up to date). Here is my Balance parse on a dummy (up to date). I know the Ravager Hardmode fights up to Blaster and I know the fights in Temple of Sacrifice up to Revan. I have beaten up to Titan 6 in NiM SV and up to Writhing Horror in NiM TFB (yes I know the Dread Guard and Thrasher fights:) ). I do NOT know any of the DP NiM fights and vaguely know any DF NiM. I beat EC NiM. Hope to hear from you soon!

A quick look at the link to your twitch stream, that you have included in your own signature, shows you actually spamming. Archived video from March 21st. You have an entire guild pulled up with /who, a guild you were previously banned from and whose members want nothing to do with you, and you are sitting there, going through the list of members, sending everyone on the list whispers with links to your twitch stream.
Based on that video evidence, you were in fact spamming, and advertising as well. So I'm not sure why you are surprised by what happened.
my stream has nothing to do with it anymore anyways since im not associated with that guild any longer

Let’s talk a little bit about our squelch system that is in the game. This system was implemented quite some time ago as a method for players to not only avoid filling up their /ignore list, but to also help in getting a lot of those pesky Credit Sellers out of chat. This has been very successful for us since its implementation as we have experienced a dramatic drop in this type of chat spam. Please continue to report Credit Sellers and any other spammers you encounter as it is helping!
Lately, we’ve been receiving reports of this system being abused by players. Typically, the squelch abuse is in the form of Guild members targeting individual players or anyone in a rival Guild and deliberately impacting their game play. We take these type of abuses very seriously and as with any exploit, we will be taking appropriate action against anyone who participates. Depending on the severity of the abuse, action includes everything from warnings and suspension time to account closure. Please note, if this action is taken by a Guild, we will be particularly tough on Guild Masters and Guild Officers who coordinate, participate, or simply do not stop their Guild members from abusing the squelch system.
If you have been on the receiving end, what you must not do is retaliate! If you do, you have added yourself to the list of participants and you are putting your account at risk. If someone, or a group of users, has used squelch in an abusive way against you please file a detailed report with Customer Support. They will investigate and take the necessary action(s).
With all of this in mind, we are constantly looking at ways to improve this functionality. In the meantime, please use it wisely against spammers and advertisers/credit sellers, but please don’t ruin the game play of legitimate players.

yea no one really does that,...its more of an ignore thing yet they spam fleet chat for about maybe 5 hours and then they delete that toon and make another one.... .000000001% of the time someone actually reports them and nothing happens.... this is also something you devs should talk about on the stream or maybe get to the bottom of this quickly instead of sitting on support line and wait 20 min to talk to a supervisor that doesn't have a noggin. thats just my opinion though

true datYes but the original thread said that squelching happens because of Bioware's choice of how to combat ingame fleet chat spam by gold sellers.The reporting system and the amount of reports required for a squelch were implemented to shut up gold sellers, according to the original post.
I'm well aware of the main issue original post (OP) is raising, that's why I clicked on a topic with "squelched" in the title. I expected it was going to be about abuses and false reporting. I did not expect the OP to say, "China #1."
Abusing reporting systems is a very popular way to shut people up online. This is a known fact.

precisely. I was recruiting every thirty minutes and was in the middle of whispering someone and then it happenedand bioware has done nothing to fix the squelch system that is still being abused again this week, thanks bw. just about done with this game now.... -
They got a 1st offense warning this should be their secondNo, there is an issue with troll guilds like Blood Bath and Beyond who are going out of their way to massreport people from certain guilds they don't like, or do it to people that do nothing more than disagree with their trolling. Blood Bath has already received an official warning, but they pretend otherwise. Not surprising from a guild who's GM was banned for the vendor exploit and had to make a new account. -
