It seems Ashara Zavros doesn't really gain any affection, or lose any, during any conversation that I have with any NPC, or even herself.
It really sucks, because the only way for me to increase affection is by showering her with tons and tons of gifts.
Is anyone else struggling with this? She is a completely full companion for me, so I don't see the problem. :\

I honestly dont think in a months time (assuming things keep going to plan) that anyone is going to say this was a failed launch. Well, some terminal cassandras might and the people with the delusion that if only they started on the 13th they would definitely have got the world first everything. But the vast majority of their playerbase are going to log in on the 20th, be met with small but manageable queues on some servers and a well spread stable population on others and find themselves playing a game theyre really stoked on.
So far, if you can remove your own self interest and look at it objectively, this launch is not only good, but its actually beating our expectations. We all thought (well, those of us who understood that 'MAY' and 'UP TO' qualified the "5 days early access"), we would get 2 or 3 days... if we were lucky. Instead its looking more like 4 or 5 for the late comers. Thats pretty neat. Its looking very much like the absolute worst case scenario for early game access is the start of the weekend. And honestly, thats fantastic. And they achieved this precisely because they stuck to their plan. No significant crashes. In fact the only people moaning on the forums are people who are dying to access the game. And if your worst failure is that people cant play it soon enough, well things are likely looking good for the future.
So good luck people from december, but its probably not on the cards for today. But by the 20th youll be with the rest of us (if you arent already) applauding what has been a very decent release thus far. I understand thats NOT the perception at the minute, but thats because peoples self interest is clouding their judgement. In two or three months when youre sitting on a stable server with a thriving population i guarantee youll be cheering that they duidnt just let everyone pile in at the same time and a) screw up the stability of the servers in that first month and b) screw up the population dispersion.
This sums it all up.

I would love that to happen! But guess what, BIOWARE couldn't give a rats bottom about their customers. They act like nothing else exists accept what they say. As yes it is their rights, but it is not very nice to alot of their futur paying customers.
If this is a preview of how they will treate their customers by not listening to their pleas/demands/requests, well this game will go quickly into the ground.
On the other hand, by taking a 0.00000000000000000000001% of letting december in today that the servers may have a couple of lag spike, will basicly clean that "bad reputation" of the slate, because they listenned to their paying customers.
Their futur is in their hands, and letting december in today would be a huge boost to alot of paying customers. As it will end on a positive on this EGA.
Honestly, you can't run a business like this.
If you listen to -every- plead, demand, cry, and such... You're not going to get anywhere.
They have a plan. They're going to stick to it. If they can afford to throw a little bonus in, that's great for us.
You were not promised five whole days. It was said in the ad that is was -up to- five days. I was expecting two or three days. I might get five, if I'm lucky today.
I am very content and happy, regardless.
How about you? Perhaps you should see the glass as half-full?

Trask Ulgo is suppose to be a heavy RP server. I know that there's a few good sith guilds for role-playing. One of them is suppose to have over two hundred members.

Jesus, people. I'm very content in waiting a few more days for a game that I've waited for -two years-. I have the patience from all that waiting to bide my time a little while longer.
As a causal gamer, I don't care if I get 'server's first level 50' or 'took down Revan first award!'. I'm just looking to get out of the starter worlds before they're so crowded that the best way to complete quests is to camp out at the mountains of their bodies.
If you were so 'hardcore' about this game... Perhaps you should've pre-ordered like when all the rest of the hardcore gamers did?

Light Side appears to be more -smart-, rather than the "lol-lightning" approach of the Dark Side.
... Honestly, after going DS, I'm going to go full on Light Side with my SI. It seems more fun, and, frankly, more intelligent.

Have fun wherever you go.
I, for one, am enjoying the hell out of the game. Loving it, and I haven't even broken into the PvP yet. I'm sure it'll be another interesting experience for me to get involved.
