which crew skills should i choose?

Hello,

 

my and my friend have just started to play swtor.

My friend is a sith marauder with artifice, archaeology and treasure hunting.

I am a sith sorcerer with no crew skills.

 

My friend can assist me giving me my light saber.

 

So i am in a dilemma. There is no point for me to choose the artifice so i am between synthweaving and cybertech.

Which one should i prefer??

 

Also I have some questions,

1.what kind of armor does the cybertech provides?

2.the term "force user" is referred to classes like the sith sorcerer and not the sith warrior.Correct?
