Killnig Stark as s a Sage/Healer Build

Hey All.

 

I've been banging my head against a wall for a while now. I'm level 45. I've had no problems with vivicar or any of the other challenges but Stark is actually being a problem. He seems to be "cheating a bit. I've been watching him so I could interrupt Benevolence only to see his health jump back up to 3/4s full without casting a thing. Has anyone run into any problems with Stark as a healer build?any abilities or strategy I'm missing?

i killed him when i was level 40, i had nadia on passive , i cast mind crush and weakend mind, i run back trougth the places where you killed all mobs and use weakend mind and mind crush again once the cd is over, i start to run again back to the respawn place and use mind crush and weakend mind again.

 

now i let nadia attack and i run around taking damage trying to interupt his rock throwing spell by getting out of sigth using the walls to do this (sometimes sprint if i needed to) while out of sigth i would heal myself. If he starts attackin nadia try to get his attention again either by stun or force wave.

 

Try to interupt most of his heals, its okay to miss some. But this way i managed to kill him.

 

Nadia does most of the damage, i mostly use mind crush and weakend mind on him and let him thereafter deal damage to me while i get out of sigth and heal and get in sigth again so he targets me to then again repeat, however if possible i used other damage spells.

 

NOTE: make sure nadia has good gear, i bougth a full set of new level 40 gear for nadia to be able to make it.

I managed to kill him with Qyzen at 45. He wasn't that hard. Remember that your bonus ability to increase health regen also instantly resets your stun timer. That was enough to finish him off for me.

 

I was very pleased to finally have a good fight in the game.

How can you have used Fess? It says Nadia is required, at least the first time you confront him. Can i go back in with a different companion? o.o With Tharen that fight'll be cake for me

You can.

 

You need Nadia for the conversation. Once you do it, all you need to do is send back you companion and take Tharan.

 

That's what I did and it became a piece of cake.

Ive given up trying to kill him. You cant silence any of his heals. From what Ive read people have silenced his heals in the past but they do nothing now.

 

I cant kite him as he just heals himself.

Nadia's too much of a glass cannon, and Qyzen just didn't seem to do enough damage before going down. I ended up using Theran, he healed me and I shielded/healed myself, worked on gimping the hell outta Stark, and it was - fairly easy. 3rd time was a charm. Just stun/slow the hell out of him and shield when he starts blasting you with rocks, remainder DPS (and just KEEP THE STUNS AND SLOWS UP).
