The heck with "buffing" jugs, nerf the hell out of Scoundrel/Op

Shiv specifically, at least I assume its shiv being a sniper and not knowing the abilities of the other advanced class. Could be another knife attack that looks exactly like shiv idk. Maybe they get 5 of them and thats how this works but to go on first...

 

What the **** is this **** at level 50? Spamming the melee attack multiple times a second for over 2k damage each time? There's so many times now in PVP where I go from full health to dead in < 5 seconds from a stealth scoundrel showing up, stunning me, and then killing me by just spamming that one attack. I had a horror story this last game where two got me at once and I literally died in 1 second. Not joking. A full second of them spamming that attack and I was dead.

 

Now I'm a level 50 sniper, I recognize i am not a tank class, but i'm also not a light armor class. This should not be feasible to die THAT FAST because seemingly one ability is just way overpowered when it does as much damage as my 2.5 second cast ambush (1.5 if after a critical) and they can just spam it multiple times a second. This is also made worse since they're a stealth class so most of the time you don't even see them coming to try to kill them or stop them or whatever before they get to you.

 

Probably a full 2/3 of my deaths come from this these days. I'm sure others have had similar experiences. Sure some people may say jugg doesn't do enough damage, but I have a dps jug friend who ranks high every time. And some people say one healer shouldn't be able to heal a guy through 3 people attacking him at once in pvp to the point they do a net gain of almost no damage, and thats a fair point to.

 

But this? This is just grade A malarky.

 

Edit: After looking at other topics apparently it is a chain of skills rather than just shiv spam (though shiv is heavily involved). That does not change the fact that 1 of these guys can kill most any class in < 5 seconds if they get the drop on them, and 2 of them in basically 1 second. No other class can do this or anything even close to it via chains or whatever. It needs to be nerfed in some form or another.

Operatives work on the same 1.5 second global cd as everyone else. Any op who gets enough alacrity to lower that significantly will have next to no crit or surge, which means they'll hit like a wet noodle.

You're complaining about 2k crits? I'm speechless.

1. If you really died in 1 second, that means you have no expertise gear and sub-11,000 health. Gear up.

 

2. You can't "spam" attacks in 1 second when the GCD is 1.5 seconds.

 

3. You lost 2v1. This is obviously imbalanced and must be corrected. You are clearly such a skilled and knowledgeable player that anything less than a 5v1 should be handled with ease.

This just in, assassin classes are ranged DPS's counter. News at 11.

FYI, shiv, the ability you keep complaining about, is our lowest damage knife attack, and we pretty much just use it to set up other abilities. I'd keep going, but your own quotes illustrate your ignorance and ineptitude far more eloquently than I ever could.

 

For the record, I'd gladly take a major nerf to Hidden Strike (the ability that's actually getting your knickers in a twist) if it meant we didn't have such pathetic sustained damage when we're caught out of stealth.

Scoundrels and Operatives definitely have a huge burst (which maybe needs to be looked at), but the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about negates the validity of your post.
