Touchmysabr
x2 ear pieces, x2 relics, and an implant... all in around 40 bags. YES I'M MAD BRO
seanyd
Have opened about 40-50 bags. I have 3 mainhands (trashed one), 2 impants, ears, 2 legs, chest, 2 belts. Also the centurion gloves, shield and helmet. I also have every freakin' relic. Have gone 13 bags with nothing to getting 3 items in a row at times. RNG sucks. BouncerPup
Like the system, but it has flaws. Need to be able to exchange duplicate tokens that you've already gotten for something that you can use.
BouncerPup
You get centurion tokens and sometimes champion gear in the bags. Centurion tokens can buy centurion gear, which is lower quality than champion. So if you want champion gear through grinding warzones, you have to be lucky. I don't know where we can get champion tokens directly. You can get Champion commendations by opening Battlemaster chests. But those require you to be Valor Rank 60 to open and can only be obtained from PvP dailies/weeklies, and even so, if you want full Battlemaster equipment, getting lucky through these is the only way to get it. There are no Battlemaster commendations, only tokens.
Pashgan
7 bags, relic (which is missing any stats thus useless 99% of time) and ear. Guildie got lightsaber from first try. Sounds like total bullcrap and someone's "brilliant" idea to force people farm endlessly (which I won't do after my initial 3 months expire because game doesn't feel that comfortable to continue subscription just because I have free/spare time). Item tokens should be "faceless" so I could choose which item I prefer. Edited January 1, 2012 by Pashgan
GeLopez
I like them. I haven't gotten good RNG outside of getting my weapon, but the system adds a fun, random element to PVP loot without feeling too grindy. Spades
The system sucks. You should just get x number of commendations each time and then choose what pieces you want to buy. Instead with this system you are going to have people all done after 15 bags and others who have to open 80. I, of course, am in the latter. GeLopez
(which is missing any stats thus useless 99% of time) Except times when you need bigger burst, which are the only moments in PVP that really matter.

Sky_walkerPL
Item tokens should be "faceless" so I could choose which item I prefer. I agree. Maybe make something like: - Unassembled weapon - for weapons obviously - Unassembled armor - for armors - Unassembled item - for everything else Than you can choose what you want in vendor. FAR less frustration, but more fun from choosing the stuff of the looks you like instead of random set of gear looking randomly. I agree with the idea that the tokens could be made "faceless" and perhaps rarer to accommodate making them "faceless," but the randomness of the system is a really good idea. Sometimes RPGs are about winning the dice roll, and working for that lucky moment can be a great feeling. BrolleunHunter
After opening about 15 bags and getting an earpiece and a relic (lol) I found out my buddy that I pvp with got his pistol, offhand and 3 set pieces from 9 bags. Needless to say I wanted to punch an infant. They are POS.
Dystopic
I don't mind the RNG system. I do care that you can get duplicates.

Hence being a steaming pile of crap. Edited January 1, 2012 by BrolleunHunter
Ashanor
It's pretty lame. How fast you acquire PvP gear shouldn't be left up to RNG.

Efertin
I've got almost full gear after ~25 bags, a friend of mine has 1 piece after 25 bags. You cannot compete against people with full PvP gear when you have none. Great system Bioware!

Ashanor
Kill a boss--get random loot from it. Open a bag--get random loot from it. It's really not comparable at all. We should just be able to buy pieces for 1k or so merc points each.
Sky_walkerPL
Kill a boss--get random loot from it. Open a bag--get random loot from it. Go to GTN -> buy great PvE gear Pray for random chance of getting gear from bags for 2 weeks -> buy two or maybe three PvP gear pieces. Still think it's fine? OW_Spectre
I like them. I haven't gotten good RNG outside of getting my weapon, but the system adds a fun, random element to PVP loot without feeling too grindy. Believe me, it's not fun when you go through 28 bags and absolutely NO GEAR at all... And see others who have spent less time/effort getting full sets..? After all the **** I had to put up with, horrible eye-clawing teammates, going against fully geared pre-mades on the other side (I get that, it's PvP and these things happen, but to get rewarded with commendations that lead up to worse gear?) - putting my time/effort into all of that is just off-putting. It's not fun anymore, mate...its not...it HAS become a grind to me. It's a freaking great system, this.

Day_Late
Kill a boss--get random loot from it. Open a bag--get random loot from it. Agreed. Raiders spend all their time to have a chance to get a piece that they need. Why should pvp be easier? Also, has anyone looked at the 1.1 patch notes? This issue will be resolved when that hits.
