KoCook Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 What's the big deal with the added security key are people's accounts being stolen in mass? I can understand protecting your account but are they having problems with their servers getting jacked?
LowfatEnvelope Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) I'd think it's just an extra procaution. I doubt they're getting hacked a lot right now (if at all), but it pays to be safe. Edited January 1, 2012 by LowfatEnvelope
mothermoy Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 just bioware trying to be proactive. the more people they can get to attach a sekuriteh keh to their account, the more likely it is that significantly less accounts get hacked. Which means they spend less time trying to recover hacked accounts, which means they can divert those man hours to something a bit more useful!
belialle Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) In other games, account security has been a HUGE issue. Best to get the security keys out there early. Edited January 1, 2012 by belialle
