Dalarin
It's time to rethink the "sharding" of servers and areas. I have been trying to get a group for Cademimu and the Mandalorians for a couple of days now and it seems everyone is looking for healers right now. That's all fine and dandy but how in the *&^* is it that there are not enough people to ask in a full server ? If they can't handle the "graphics" requirements for a high population area then it's their problem they need to turn it down. If it's not a graphics problem I have a hard time beleiving that they can't handle a couple of hundred people in an area at a time. Why are "shards" not being combined as often as they are being created ? People don't like to play an MMO where they have to WORK to find people to play with, or around. Low SEEMING populations are just as detrimental as crowded areas, it's time to rebalance the numbers when splitting. Thank you ! P.S. Love the game, enjoying most of it, am disappointed by little things like this
SWGVet
Agreed on all counts. I hope they act soon. This is the #1 killer of an MMO, phased instancing.
CelestrialFox
Maybe they aren't all in Republic fleet, there are two sides also, and planets. On my server which is full I always run into people, and always run into a problem of others tapping quest mobs around me. In short, my full server feels full and has tons of people around at all times.
Shadysketchy
Well, if you think about it in terms of a Single Player game, then 63 people in one place is literally 63 times the intended capacity That's how I look at it, at least; hopefully this view can be reversed, by BioWare phasing out the... phasing They also need to work on how well the Server works, with more than 20 people in one place, because it can get noticeably slower
Audix
i tihnk most server's are uneven with certain sides, more empire then republic or the otherway round, there needs to be a limit on sides when theyr outumberd vastly
Kaphik
It's time to rethink the "sharding" of servers and areas. I have been trying to get a group for Cademimu and the Mandalorians for a couple of days now and it seems everyone is looking for healers right now. What you may not understand is even if you see only 63 people in your social tab, the General chat is shared across all instances on a planet. Your problem finding a group has absolutely nothing to do with the number of people in an instance, nor with the sharding. You stated the problem right there, "everyone is looking for healers". That has zero to do with instancing.
Durzaka
You realize there are a dozen planets, and 2 factions? With republic usually being outnumbered. And with only 63 people at the republic fleet there is no sharding, and even if there was, it would in no way affect your ability to get a group together via chat. Leggomy
Why would tons of people be hanging out at the republic fleet anyways? Makes no sense.
