Need help with Quesh: Attis

aw man! i'm getting clobbered like you wouldn't believe. i can barely make it to that point, but once in side attis, its over. i can't seem to get past to first mob. they're insane with power!. i'm a level 37 sage. with qyzen as my tank - but we're not able withstand the damage these guys are doing to us. killing us faster than i can heal.

i'm not a professional at mmo's, i don't know the science of all yet and i'm beginning to wonder if bioware had that in mind when they put quesh together. maybe they've made it difficult for the purpose of encouraging groups, but when there's only less that eight players on quesh, its kinda tough, not saying i don't like a challenge, but i've reached a dead end it seems.

anyone have advice as to how i can make in and out of attis station alive, or does bioware need to lower mob levels down a notch? :)

I am at that same point. I think grouping is the only way to beat those guys.

I did this on a shadow solo, not tank spec. I died several times, but it is possible, and it was mostly because I did not see the following:

There are consoles that yield you 5 floating droids that absorb damage. They are located near each Sith mob, but outside its aggro range. Click them several times to acquire the 5 droids. They don't last an entire fight, but they help enough to take out most of who you need to before you're on your own again.

Keep at it.

Or you can group too, it would be easy that way. This was last February when I was there, and there were only 2 people on Quesh. :(

BTW, hardest part of leveling a Consular IMO. There is also a large droid on Belsavis to look forward to, though it is much easier.

I got stuck on this mission yesterday and today i spent more hours thinking about what mods to send my sage , so in the end i sent a few and gave qyzen a few , as long as they where armor mods who cares and then spent 1 hr or so doing it it was ok after that. I'm level 39 and it was still very tough though , until I sent a few mods only 4 armor mods and a couple of other ones :) gl. o i had to return to the med droid once as 10 min wait is too long.

Cheers,

I guess I was kind of lucky and I just started clicking on the consoles without really paying attention to what they were for, I kind of looked at the buffs after the fact. I remember seeing a guy in general chat complaining about the quest before I went in. I didn't have any trouble as a Shadow having clicked the consoles and with Tharan healing me.

Dont forget to CC one of them.

Yeah, this too. It's kind of a test, if you will, like the harder fights are as you are leveling. You need to use all your abilities well in order to beat it.

I used Qyzen, but it was my first character and I didn't know Theran/AI healers were so effective. He would be much better if you have him geared approximately at level, depending on your spec.

at first i died being slightly unprepared for the warrior/reaver combo, i didnt even check into a console, level 39 sage with qyzen at point, you just need to CC the reaver all the time, if you come groups of warriors, just stun one and focus fire on the other while maintaining heals, and the rest is history after that.
