SWTOR Figure Prints

As some of you might be aware, in another game it is possible to have your game character molded into a 3D replica/figure.

Now I was never really interested there - but here ... having my own "version" of Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Han Solo... perhaps even with my favorite companion ... direct in front of me on my desk ... *dreams*.

Probably a bit early, but what do you think?

Conceptually I love the idea of FigurePrints, but as an actual product it leaves much to be desired.

Up the quality of details/finish and I would consider getting one.

I've never seen one right in front of me - too much like plastic?

I bought my GF's character for her as a birthday present. It arrived late, but that's the only complaint I had. The quality and accuracy was so good that we both agreed it was more than worth the wait.

I'd love to see SWTOR get added to their repertoire!

This would be very interesting, but I believe the game needs to grow a little more before the it is profitable. That or they would cost a huge amount of credits. Real life credits.

But I would love to have my legacy on my desk. So awsome. Specially if they had different poses (IA sniping, SI lightning storming, ...). But it will be along time before we see this. One can dream...

i imangine there are a TON of legal problems with doing it for this game as you have EA/Bioware and Lucasarts.

Sadly... too true I'm afraid. Uncle George wouldn't be happy about it. Nevertheless, if it makes EA and Lucas Arts money, who knows? It would be cool to have my main done. scars and all. :)

Lucasarts owns all of the content. EA just has distribution rights. But licensing agreements are still complicated business.

Yes. I'm sure Lucas would be downright irate at the ability to bring in yet more money to his coffers.

agreed, best thing to do is get a bunch of figures with similar parts to your character and start the cut and glue fun times
