MrTijger
Oh wow, it's like it's really 2006 in here. You should seriously keep up to date with what's going on around you. Consumer SSDs are well beyond mature by this point, just admit that your only problem with them is that you can't afford one. Intel and Samsung especially are famous for their SSDs with less than 1% 3 year failure rate and 1.5 million hour MTBF, lasting significantly longer than any ancient spinning disk tech. Then perhaps you need to join 2011 and read up on some of the SSD issues that are being experienced, some brands do really wel while others do not. Consumer SSDs are well beyond mature by this point, just admit that your only problem with them is that you can't afford one. Intel and Samsung especially are famous for their SSDs with less than 1% 3 year failure rate and 1.5 million hour MTBF, lasting significantly longer than any ancient spinning disk tech. my computer specs: 2600k 480 gtx crosair xms ddr 3 1333mhz 24gb kit evga p67 FTW antec TPQ 850w antex 1200case seagate baracuda 7200.xx 1.5tb hdd ocz vertex 2 60gb(bought when prices on it were still high) whiel intel and samsung do certain have better reps than ocz and sandforce driven ssd's for failure rates, consumer grade ssd's have barely been on the market for 3 years let alone any number of years to get some irl MTBF data like we have for hdd's for example. first gen ssd's in general were known for frequent failure rates regardlessof bran, adn while intel first gen ssd's were considered far mroe reliable than competitors, ultimately still had high failure rates compared to hdd's. while expectatiations of longevity in a practical real world sense has increased with each generation, any non techtard will readily admit that the tech is far from reliable at it's best and prone to failure at a higher rate than other premium quality PC parts, where as any product/part can arrive DOA or die within months, even the best brands and quality products, ssd's by and large tend to have much higher fail rates than everythign else. which anyone with a decent amoutn of experience in PC tech is aware that that's normal for relatively "new"* tech like ssd *"ssd"'s have been around for decade. the ssd tech used in consumer grade ssd's is less than a decade old and has only become cheap enough for mass production in very recent years. oftne people who argue that ssd's will last forever "because they have no moving parts' are woefulyl ignroant of the limitations of the tech, or the fact that every singel write cycle degrades the nand flash in such a way that to prolong life there is literally abotu double the physical memory space material than what the drives are rated for because other wise no one would buy this **** because it wouldn't last long at all. whiel ssd's will last a long time (in theory) if written to infrequently, frequent daily writes will kill the best of them within a couple years, adn people who use them with that in mind in a professional setting prepare adn budget for that in advance with on teh spot hotswap replacements ready to go, and frequent back ups to slower but more relaible media. Warjhinn
I have been playing since weekend betas and early access. Not a single crash. My machine was built in 2007 so not state of the art either. No problems at all.

Zhit
As dozens and dozens have said before--the game crashing won't take out your SSD. And as a side note--if you are getting frequent crashes--you need to check your rig. Most likely the crashes are being caused by your system, not the game. The game has been remarkably stable on most everyone's system. If you are have frequent crashes, check your drivers!
Velassra
I haven't crashed once and my system is well over 2 years old. The only thing new/up to date is a new video card. It ain't the game.
Jalden
If there is a connection, the broken SSD caused game to crash. The other way around is impossible.

Evilidea
Man o Man, could you imagine the havoc if software starts being able to affect hardware. Holy armageddon batman. OP is clearly a person who should be administered a test before being allowed on the interwebz.

YooYooMa
I have a Corsair Sandforce4 SSD and love it to bits. Its 120gb and cost me about $200. BEST gaming investment ever. I just bought a Corsair Force GT and I have a feeling that I will NOT be installing this poorly coded mess onto that baby. As for the people telling the OP that it's her fault: what the s*** is wrong with you people? Yeah, she probably made a false cause, but that doesn't mean that this game isn't a poorly coded hunk of junk. This game is causing a TON of performance issues with a ton of people. recondelta
Kiddies, stop trying to play MMO's with current SSDs. They are not ready, will not speed up your game, and make you look like an idiot to anyone who knows anything about computer technology. I understand all the kool kiddies you hang with say "yooz needz da SSD" but they are wrong. Get a hard drive to load and play your MMOs. If you have an SSD ONLY use it as a boot drive to shave a few precious seconds off your wasted life. Funny how you will spend 18 hours a day behind your computers gaming but a few extra seconds to load up Windows from a hard drive is unacceptable. Enough now, carry on, and stop spamming the forums with your braindead messages.

Kourage
Coincidence. Just because it rained, doesn't mean the rain caused whatever it is that happened to break afterwards. Electronics aren't built to last forever.
