deserttfoxx
The 1 hour wait... the 25 minute ride after waiting, the one shot at the datacron failure resulting in having to try again, we all find this alright? Just kind of wanted to know what others thought about it.
Stimmel
it's completely optional and not necessary, so yes, i'm okay with it.
Cormey
I actually got a huge laugh out of that ride. A mere couple minutes to the datacrons aaaaaaaaaand... the blimp dissapeared, leaving everyone inside out in the middle of the dunes... At that point, what can you but either smash your fist through the monitor or laugh maniacally? Took me a total of 3 hours all up. GhoXen
It's alright. If BioWare doesn't even try to make datacrons challenging, they might as well hand us a bunch of "stat sticks" at the start of the game.

Vesperascit
It makes it so you really have to WANT that datacron to bother going to get it so...yes I think it's fine Edit: Not to mention that the Jawa Balloon datacron adventure gets you +3 to Str and a Blue Matrix Shard. Now my BH doesn't need STR and I don't care about the Blue Matrix shard in this case so I don't HAVE to do it. And since STR isnt needed stat for BHs anyways I am at NO disadvantage. GhoXen
waiting on top of sow moving objects for 30+ min for multiple datacrons is hardly challenging, just tedious and not very fun I'm pretty sure that's precisely the definition of "challenging" in MMOs, taking into account all the arguments surrounding issues such as LFG tool or badge gear. RadicalGene
I enjoyed it. The wait is actually only at most 40 minutes if you *just* missed it. I sent my minions out to do missions, took a lot of nice pictures of Tatooine landscape and made my family dinner. Came back just in time to snag two datacrons. Its fine by me. Just kind of wanted to know what others thought about it. I'm just fine with 'em. No big loss if you're not up to the challenge and skip 'em, and a very small reward if you're willing to put in the effort. Sounds more than fair. Zeromentor
I'd rather wait an hour than have to break through another Imperial Outpost crawling with level 50 champions. Seriously, sometimes us Reps have it hard.
PibbyPib
It's awesome. Out of the four guys I happened to end up on the balloon with, one of them lost patience and leaped out early, and one missed the crawler by about a foot. Overall, very memorable and enjoyable game experience.

deserttfoxx
Heres how i got them, i missed hte balloon.. so i just leaped on some random republic who was already on the datacron. Big challenge, it took me 10minutes ot get it. Nar shada datacron was more challenging, this is just tedious time consuming nonsense. Because i am a jug, i can impose myself on someone else who waited the hour and a half for the balloon. Who figured that out, who figured out that you should be waiting an hour for a balloon, then sit on it for 30minutes after to get to the datacron, who has the time to do things like that just to explore? halbarz
i'm fine with all the datacrons tbh, they are fun to find^^ ps: one question anyone knows how to get that one in Taral V ? on the broken tower ( basicly at the start of the flashpoint , next to that bridge )
Strongfort
Yeah...you don't have to use the balloon... My friend and I got it just by dueling and using our knock-backs to launch the other up to the back of the crawler...no 1hr+ balloon ride used. Works best if you use your knockback when the person is in mid air (from a jump) to get maximum vertical distance. I'm a Merc, and he's a Sniper. And YES, I'm talking about the one up top, not the one on the side (though we uses the same method for that too) Edited December 31, 2011 by Strongfort
duvetism
I waited 30 mins for balloon.I traveled 30 mins on balloon.I was getting myself mentally ready as I could see target. All of sudden balloon disappears and I am safely on the ground (1hr 3 mins after first waiting for balloon).I sob.I travel back to loading point to find it had just left.I sobbed again.I am now there waiting... Just kind of wanted to know what others thought about it. Try this one. We waited for the blimp for about an hour after figuring it out. Followed that dumb thing when we could have youtubed it. We are all happy moving at 1 mph knowing we are going to get the two there. Bored waiting I say "Lets duel our companions to see who wins!" Brother says "okay! Khem will wreck Kaliyooooo!" Whats he do? His knock back and I go flying off the blimp! Laughing we tell our roommate lets try again, he flys out there we all get out, we get the two and the roommate misses the last drop one. If you are walking you can do it no problem, if you don't, you should have. So, for about 5 hours we did that one but I wouldn't change a thing. duvetism
No its just me, nobody else - no abilitys - no nothing. I was safely in the balloon approaching the sand crawler - the next second I was teleported to the ground and balloon had reset back at loading point. I am just about to get on the balloon again, i've reported it as a bug just hope lightning doesnt strike twice as its 2 hours now and still 30 min ride to go.
