For Gods sake give us a choice in which PVP arena we want to compete in.

How can devs actualy believe that this games pvp system, which is the worst in gaming history, can live on only 3 arenas? And to beat all I cant stand huttball anymore. Its rediculous that a game cant deilver anything close to real PVP after all these years of waiting. And for the dev who tried to say this wouldnt be a cirle straff fest...well FU because thats exactly what I told you it would be over a year ago.

A: If youcve played other mmos on launch month youll see that the way things are arent that bad. In fact they are doing rather good. If your complaining about the ability reactions go to Preferences and set your que to 0.0. That pretty much fixed my sith assassin.

 

B: i agree that being able to choose the warzones would be nice not because huttball is bad but because i get sick of it. I actualy kept track of the last 5 days of pvp and out of 64 games 42 of them were huttball.

 

this is probably because teams fill up faster in huttball, this needs to be fixed though.

 

C: if it bothers you that much just quit the match and rejoin. sure its rotten but people would prefer that you quit a match to jokin another rather than qq. at least i would 0.o

 

the fact you can quit without reprercushions (cant spell this late at night lol) needs to be fixed as well.

The overwhelming majority hate huttball. Its without a doubt the worst pvp arena in the history of mmo's period. Why you are defending it makes you a very small minority. PVP needs to actualy not give any XP and you would wee the true nature of PVP. This game has literaly died over pvp issues, horrid imbalance issues, and extremely poor customer service issues. They have entirely crapped this out too early and arent really doing anything to fix it. In actuality, they need to scrap every areana in this game and put pvp in the worlds, not in little pockets that are extremely boring and repetative. The warhammer team should have never worked on this game. They ruined for warhammer pvp and killed it in this one. To be honest, I go into the pvp arenas, fight for about 1 minute, then go hide in a corner and clean up about 13k of xp. That should never be allowed to happen in a game.

i dont really love it with any special feelings but its a clever game mode and i apreciate it. The problem isnt in the game modes themselves, its in how the keep repeating themselves. ITS ALWAYSE HUTTBALL RAWR!

Do you have a problem reading or undestanding plain english? Its overwhelmingly against huttball mainly because its just a poor mini game. PVP is only used for leveling in this game. The one thing it should never be used for. Everyperson who uses it as a leveling mechanic just proves the fact that Story doesnt hold peole in the game as bioware keeps feeding us.

Ok this started about huttball and now its about pvp leveling? And the story? ok then instead of a new topic post lets continue.

 

It is a very well constructed minigame. The traps go off reliably and on decent timers. the apssing mechanic, while difficult to master, is fairly forgivable. you simply click the on ground thing enar someone and it works, if you pass it to the wrong person, your own damn fault.

 

Its a skill based game, an enjoyable one, and i hope it is here to stay. On this we reach an impas, i like it you dont, and all i can say is either unsub and never come back or get better, its fun if your good.

 

FInaly i love the story of this game. The inquisitor story line gives me such a power trip.

I think the story is the best made part of coarse. That is because bioware focuses on story and does it well. This is not opinion but fact, and you will have to state some real good examples as to why its a bad story. Until you do that the story is innocent of badness until proven guilty.

people use it to level because if you make one way to level a lot faster than other ways, a lot of MMO players will choose the fast way, even if it is less enjoyable.

 

they made a huge mistake making warzone leveling faster than quest leveling. they spent all that money on voice actors only to have people playing in warzone they are sick of because they can level faster that way.

Id personaly rather just lvl through pvp because i play mmos to pvp. i play the story in this game only because its good, otherwise id never quest. ever.

It wouldn't matter you are on sith so if you could choose anything but Huttball queue times would be an hour maybe longer...now I guess if that is ok this could be option, otherwise roll republic...this game has awesome PvP!!!

weird, seems like a 10k XP warzone goes a lot faster than two 5k-6k quests. maybe I'm wrong about that, perhaps because i'm beating a lot of the quests when they are green or something.

93% of people list Huttball as their favorite warzone.

as to the quest xp, it picks up and drops off as you quest. some hubs are better than other. this was a big question and several people were testing this. I actualy think it was more than a day in differenvce but i cant quite remember. i just no for a fact it was more than a day because thats what sutck in my head.

FFS let us pick whether we want arena or not. This is so F'ing old. 9/10 of my alts are great there. 1 sucks. and get which character gets the damn things 9/10 times. Fix this ****

People.... your customers.. on a very large scale hate them. I am queuing UNRATED pvp. I don't want damn arenas and a lot of other people don't want them either apparently. PLEASE GIVE US A CHOICE.

I was going to do a short and sweet op on this, so instead I'll just add my vote here to yours with a resounding Yes, that would be great. We all don't have the same tastes of course, and I'm one that grew very quickly to hate Huttball. But...since there isn't a preference screen with say a yes or no box next to each wz that I can check one way or another, that would exclude me from landing in a Hutball wz, I get them from time to time, then sorry, but I leave immediately. I always hated the idea of leaving a wz like that, it just seemed wrong, but I'm not going to go through 15 min or whatever of something I just don't like. Thing is...I'm not a programmer, but this really sounds like such a very simple and easy thing to fix with no downside that I can see at all. So if you could Bioware....please, pretty please...it would be much appreciated. Apparently by a whole Lot of people. Thanks.

Playing different wz is important for growth as a player. Why not just stick to quesh or the balconies on alderaan on a ranged class and never play other wz. You'll only learn one aspect of the class though.

 

Being put out of your comfort zone is where you learn to overcome the deficiencies in a class. This is something all the balance qq come from. Pvp isnt something you can watch a video to learn a fight mechanic you need to play in all situations. Not just for swtor but the next game and the one after that.

They did have this in warhammer but found that certain classes only queued for maps that suited them. They changed it to having warzones rotate with the most popular ones available more often. So even if you hated a map you only had to put up with it a week at a time.

 

swtor doesnt really have enough maps to do this which I think is part of the issue. They might not mind as much if the wz they didnt like wasnt popping all the time due to lack of variety.
