Not sure but there is some kind of cooldown or something? When i look at the item i see a red text saying its bound to my bounty hunter character and there is a countdown next to it

When i look at the item i see a red text saying its bound to my bounty hunter character and there is a countdown next to it the cooldown text is only for if you wane sell it on the GTN later on since when it reach 0 the item become's from bound to char to bound to equip so that you can sell it to other players. if you wane use it for you self then use the item on that char in this case you need to find a companion that can use the light saber then once you use it unlocks in your collection tap and you need to pay some extra cartal coins to make unlock it for you legacy so that your other chars can get copy's from that item and use it. and since you are a bounty hunter and cant use light sabers at all you have 2 options. option 1: wait when the timer reach zero and move the item to a other char that can use light sabers and unlock it from there in your collections so that you also can unlock it by paying some extra cartal coins to unlock it legacy wide. and option 2: give the light saber to one of your companions that can use light sabers and you get it unlockt in the collections tap in this way. 1
eldefail Posted December 5 Posted December 5 (edited) As stated, cartel market purchases are bound to your character for several hours. Once that timer is over, you can sell/trade/mail it. Since you bought it for yourself, you're free to use it now. Once you equip it, it will also appear in your collection. From there, you can buy the unlock to share with the rest of your account. If your current character cannot equip it, equip it to a companion who can, or wait for the BoP cooldown to expire and mail it to a force-user character or character with a lightsaber-wielding companion.
