Dacaidan
There are only few lights that actually give out light and some places in many strongholds are too dark. Many of those "working" lights are too expensive, look wrong for the style or can't be placed at all. On the other hand, the lights that would look nice, don't do anything. Now, in Sims 3 there are hidden area lights for ceilings and walls, that disappear in play mode. These kind of lights would be extremely helpful and awesome addition to the stronghold decorations. 😊

"Hidden" lighting for rooms would (especially if it lit the whole room) be an awesome addition especially if there were different "mood" lighting options that were colors. Currently there are very few decos that change the lighting color of an entire room.
Dacaidan
I couldn't find a better pic, sorry. The hidden lights in Sims 3 comes in different shapes and sizes. In the pic, the top row are the ceiling lights and the lower row are the wall lights. Again, very bad picture. The bigger the light is, the larger area it illuminates. And yes, the color of those lights can also be changed. They are so incredibly useful. I so wish they where in SWTOR too. Edit: okay, a bit better pic. This one is showing the largest hidden light (the round one) and the smallest hidden light (the square one).
