Changes in game (preferred status)

I cannot write to any part of this forum but here and New player help, so here I am.

I know that this wailing will not change anything, but at least you will know how I feel.

I've returned to the game after long pause and found that it had been changed in some ways, that make it not so fun as before, speaking mildly. Now, I'm of preferred status and still I cannot now have more than 1 million credits, I cannot craft (cannot have all three profs for crafting), I cannot pay with credits for many things (perks, inventory etc.) anymore. It's embarrassing and disappointing. What is the point of Preferred status now? It means almost nothing.

Besides, I'm in Russia and cannot pay for the game now, cannot buy coins etc.

So, these changes are bad for the gamers like me, who, perhaps, would pay for the game, if they could, but in current situation they just cannot.

And for those, who might want to blame me in the war, waged by Russia: I don't have anything to do with it, and my money now instead of coming out of the country are going into it's economy, because they don't have any other option. I personally and thousands of gamers from Russia don't take any blame for it.

You *can* craft if you organise your characters correctly (so that character A crafts, and character B provides the extra resources), or if you can afford the extra materials from some other source.  If you get Jawa tokens (Scrap, Droid Parts, and the other one), go see the Jawa vendors in the Cartel Bazaar part of the fleet (on the left as you walk in, in front of one of those octagonal container things).

All of these restrictions have always been there for Preferred players. It's part of the incentives to get people to actually Subscribe.

I've played sometimes as a Preferred player before, and they weren't in place. So, no, not all of them. Especially, there weren't crafting restrictions and artefact-quality items using restrictions.

I play one character a time. It's not a solution.

Guys, I'm telling about complete ruining of fun here, about my feeling about it, not asking advises about circumventions. I know that EA will not change anything. I know that they will not add an option for payment that will do for this... country. So I just want them to read it, nothing more.

They have always had it so you could only use 1 crafting or gathering if you went preferred. That was why they had the CM item Unlock Crew Skill Slot. Same for Artifact Authorization.

People were always complaining back then how expensive the account wide Authorization: Artifact Equipment was.

Edit: there was a thing where if you had Purple gear on a character when you went preferred, that character could continue to use it. However once you took it off, you could not put it back on until you had the Artifact Authorization or a subscrption.

The crafting (more precisely, crew skill) restrictions were there for non-subs of all types as long ago as March 2013 when I started (that is, shortly before 2.0...).  Same for artifact quality item restrictions.

That's your decision, so the consequences are on you.

About two years, since the start of this foolishness. My last subscription was just before it.

I think, I'd remembered such restrictions. If they embarrass me now, they would do it before.

Well, I pre-ordered it and cannot remember such restrictions. Now I've met them.

its not foolishness its more there follow the law the county has make there.

if the country has a forbidden to trade with some country then there most follow it all has it notting to do with the general problem at all but if there make a law for it then there have no choose thats whats happing now why you cant buy sub or cartal coins anymore.

that means company's like EA cant do anything to chance it and you need sadly to deal with it.

you only have 2 options left to do now.

keep playing the game as preferred status and deal with the restrictions from it.

or quit playing.

also you are not the only one that has this type problem any Russia gamer has this problem now there need to deal with.

so that you know this is sadly the true about your problem you have now so its not to blame you or like that but its more that nobody can help you to chance it.
