AeonMagnus Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 So I've made a new dark side guardian, and want to swap to jugg, but I'm missing the option in the training in the force quest. I don't have the dark V achievement and I've reached dark I, yet I don't see the option to switch. Could it be a one time per account thing? I made a dark sage before and was able to swap to sorc at dark I, but I'm not sure what's missing now that's preventing me from swapping.

Weeks ago I made a sage and switched to sorc from dark 1, but suddenly now on my guardian I don't have the option. So I'm wondering why was I able to switch my sage and not my guardian. Do they only allow you one character to switch from dark 1, then the rest you have to get from legacy? I don't mind having to grind out dark V, just wondering if there's something else I could do since it worked for me before.

There was a one-time advantage the devs gave preexisting characters when 7.0 first launched that it allowed you to swap your first combat style to the mirror opposite. (You had to be sure as this was permanent same as the second). I'm not 100% sure but this one-time deal might have not needed the necessary unlock. Either that or it might have been a bug/fluke. If anyone else could correct me on it or fill in anything I missed, much would be appreciated
ThanderSnB Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Do you have the Dark Side Legacy unlock? This is in the Global Unlocks screen. The game actually checks this global unlock and not the achievement. It's possible to buy this global unlock with credits instead of getting Dark V and that would prevent switching after character creation. That's all I can think of. Otherwise, just get Dark V on your Sorcerer and then remake your Guardian as a Juggernaut during character creation, but you'll have to start that character again from scratch. Hope you find a solution.
