Have Bioware never heard of draws?

This winning rule in Huttball is complete BS. The first brilliant team I get on Huttball, we go 1-0 down. Then 1-1. Then we're 2-1 up and then the enemy scores with 1 minute left and....WE LOSE? Excuse me but it's 2-2. How the hell did we LOSE? I don't give a crap about your "But they won cos they scored 2nd" replies. We scored a 2nd goal FIRST and then they EQUALLED it. Therefore it's a DRAW. If there's no such thing as draws in PvP, why not make it go sudden death?

 

I feel completely cheated, we deserved to win that game. As if PvP in this game wasn't bad enough already.

Whichever team is holding the ball in a tie, wins.

 

So if you're in a tie, make sure you have the ball.

 

But as far as Huttball goes....I agree about Sudden Death. They could do something truly epic like it then loads up another area, the "Sudden Death Pit" which they could make all sorts of epic for the deciding goal.

I do not think they use the wow system where the last team to cap wins in the event of a tie, which is completely asinine. I have noticed that the team who wins is the team who has control of the ball which is just as horribly innacurate as to determining the best team.

Honestly, it should just end in a tie.... seriously. Nothing ticks me off more than being up 1 point for 90% of the game, then they score to create a tie, and in the last 10 seconds they grab the ball for a win.

 

Thank you for thinking the same as me. Can a tie not exist? Can we not get an equal amount of Valor, Exp and Credits? Why should one team be punished because another team managed to cap after us?

I would totally have Sudden Death do the following:

 

- Remove the speed debuff from ball handling.

- Have the arena being shot up with random laser that can kill any players, regardless of gear, level, or class ability.

- Stop the fire traps.

- Fill the pit with that acid in the middle.

- Make passes able to go twice as far.

 

EPIC.
