Flashpoint Tiers Rework

Hello devs and Swtor community.

I think flashpoints should be further reorganized based on innate difficulty and the time it takes to complete them. I know we currently have veteran and master modes for the group finder but I still feel there should be increased rewards for flashpoints that take longer to complete or that are more difficult due innate enemy strength, Map size, number of enemies presents, environmental hazards, required objectives to complete in the flashpoint. So, what I'm thinking is that we should keep vet and master but have sub difficulties as well with variations on rewards. I say this because alot of times players are selecting hammer station because its the quickest and there is no incentive to complete other flashpoints because the rewards are the same across the board.

For example, Hammer station should defiantly be on a lower Tier flashpoint subcategory and have reduced rewards. because of enemy difficulty and length. While say traitor among the chiss should be a higher teir with increased rewards due to enemy difficulty, longer length and the boss fights being more complex.  I think this concept should be applied to both veteran and master flashpoints.

Otherwise, I think some of the flashpoints should be scaled up in difficulty to be more on parr with the newer flashpoints.  for example, hammer station has trash mob enemies' difficulty increased and add some more mechanics to the boss fights. Also, although it's nice to group the enemies, It's very cheesy. I feel like there should be a mechanic that prevents grouping mobs so much. For example, kaon under siege has highly aggressive enemies that have knockbacks and stuns that make it much harder to effectively group the enemies.  I just feel it allows flashpoints to become to simple to deal with enemies which makes them less enjoyable and engaging.

I understand some speedster will have an issue with the changes, since they are trying to get resources as quickly as possible, but I personally enjoy having to work to earn a hefty reward. I feel it is more satisfying and will keep the flashpoints from getting boring. It's fun running the harder flashpoints but as I mentioned above the reward system makes it kind of pointless.

So fellow swtor players if think this is a good idea and like to see this possible be implemented, please like, share, or put your own feedback with Pros and cons so the devs take notice.

See you in game!

I can definitely see where you're coming from. At the moment, I've just recently started adding Flashpoints and...PvP (shudder) to my character grind rotations. And in order to get the full rewards for the flashpoints, I have to have all 29 selected as an option to play through. Although I have noticed that Hammer Station does show up more often than not. I _do_ think it would indeed be wise to find a way to ensure the system can't be abused for quick gear grinds; though whether that ends up being through restrictions or better rewards on longer/more difficult missions is not something I would find myself qualified to speculate on unless I had the data in front of me and could speak to drop rates and what exactly gets dropped.

Exactly! Honestly, I was hoping the devs would have access to some type of game data that they could review for drop rate info, activity completion time. boss encounter duration for average players. It honestly sounds pretty complicated, but I would hope it would help improve the popularity of running other flashpoints beside the basic ones like hammer station. They could also apply the daily reward section to the flashpoint subcategories, so people can have more variations in flashpoints while still getting the daily rewards.
