Rework of Uprisings- 2player+2companion activity

Hello swtor community!

I wanted to share some rework suggestions for uprisings! If you like the ideas pls like or leave a comment!

I honestly enjoy uprising, the faster paced combat and especially the stories tied to them.  I feel like certain aspects can be changed to improve Uprisings popularity, hopefully  to make them stand out from regular flashpoints.  I think the Uprising activity should be changed to a two-player and two companion end-game activity. I think doing so would make Uprisings a fun way to utilize companions more in endgame content. I think it will bring back Kotor vibes by relying on your companions more for completing end game content. I think it would also be beneficial if the reward system was tweaked to grant influence by defeating enemies or as a reward for completion of the uprising. I believe this would be a great addition to the way we are able to acquire influence for your companions. especially if they are not maxed out yet. leveling companions to level 50 is horribly slow and expensive.  I think this would be especially useful because we have sooooo many companions currently. It can be very boring and tedious trying to get them influenced through gifts. Another reward change that I think would be beneficial, is for the chronic crafters in SWTOR! I think uprisings should reward Higher rarity and higher quantity crafting resources for the player's currently set crafting skills. I think it would be a nice addition to the way we gain acquire resources in game. I also think there should be an option that would allow us to select what level of crafting resources, we would like to acquire during uprisings.  of course, the reward amounts can also scale based on difficulty selected. Uprisings don't rely to heavly on player mechanics to complete, so personally I have been able to run vets with one other person with our level 50 comps with relative ease.    The only problem is AOE damage. I think there should be a damage reduction for companions because they are not programmed to avoid the damage which can take a toll on their health. I feel there needs to be more variations between Uprisings and Flashpoints so It can be an enticing activity to participate in.

So fellow swtor players if think this is a good idea and like to see this possible be implemented, please like, share, or put your own feedback with Pros and cons so the devs take notice.

See you in game!

  • icest changed the title to Rework of Uprisings- 2player+2companion activity

I, too, have been craving more Companion usage in Endgame, though strictly in Story Mode content (instead of some generic battle droid, how about I get my crew that I've built a relationship with over the course of the journey?), and with role restrictions reinstated for certain types of content (Flashpoints/Uprisings only allow 3 companions, one of each role; Operations/Instance Bosses allow two of each role, plus the generic wildcard droid). I've even outlined how any puzzles could be overcome, but people have either ignored me or implied it was a bad idea.

I get that FPs, Ups, Ops, and IBs are meant to be _group_ activities, but you can't even find Story-level FPs and Ups in the activities window, so at least let me bring in my platoon of Companions to help me so I don't have to go through the trouble of finding a group for Story Mode difficulty.
