Tasaas Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Premade this... Premade that... Ban Premades.... Shakes fist at Premades... Premades just flew over my house.... Nearly every day I pvp. Nearly everyday when I am doing the pvp, some inexperienced player makes a huge mistake. A mistake so huge that it ends up costing me a victory. example: Last night, close match of huttball. score is 2-2 , with 2 min left. Sorc collects ball in mid, and gets swarmed... Looks for pass. I am on ramp heading to score along with a sniper. Sorc passes ball to us, sniper receives it. I am not sure why he got instead of me( an op ). Anyway, I move past first fire pit, and jump up and down for pass. Sniper throws ball away. Sniper did not even try to pass to me, just dumped it off. Other team collects ball in mid, scores. we lose. That match was lost because of an "error" and not because the other team had a group playing together. *if the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail I have read hundreds of comments, maybe closer to a thousand, that are all blaming premades for the ills in pvp. I have premade accusation fatigue. 1 2
remylion Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 (edited) I only call teams a premade when they have the same guild tags. If they have different guild tags, it's just randomness putting a few people who know how to play on the same team. But I constantly hear people making excuses that "the enemy team is a premade" when no one shares the same guild tag and maybe 2 or 3 people on the enemy team are actually playing smart preventing my team from advancing. I don't mind losing to a premade team that is able to voice chat, organize, and win quickly. I do mind when a premade is on my team and all they do is farm kills and sabotage the game by ignoring objectives or actively giving the enemy the objective to tank the game. The amount of people who do not know how to play amaze me. Like whole teams will try and kill the obvious tank guarding a node while completely ignoring a healer even when being told, "X is a healer, kill them first". Or teams that will full out abandon a turret to kill one enemy that was called out at mid even though there were already 3 other people there. Or people refusing to take the advice of "if you are going to solo guard the pylon, don't stand on top of it unless you have 2 breaks or a PT with shoulder rockets" Edited April 6, 2023 by remylion
