The holocron is NOT the weapon

Not sure if any player saw this, but the holocron is not the secret weapon in Sa'har's posession, because :

- during the mission on Ruhnuk, when we're with Shae in the Comm tower, Sa'har is talking to her brother and he says " the Field Marshal wants the holocron moved to" - that means Heta already knew about the holocron.

- in the last cutscene, on Heta's ship, Ri'kan says something about a weapon in his sister's posession.

What if the weapon is actually a real weapon, as in a turbolaser or "something" else that might qualify as a weapon?

What is a holocron? Holographic Cronicle, basically a database. We know from Consular class story that not anyone can access them - for example the Noetikons refused to activate even to the Jedi Council, so what if this holocron in Sa'har's posession is useless, because she can't use it or it has a sort of failsafe and won't activate to just anyone?

maby the holocron can activate a kind of mecanism and activate something like order 66 for jedi/sith ;)

Possibly, but that still doesn't explain why Heta Kol would want it, her quarrel is with Shae Vizla, not with the Sith or Jedi, so dying Force sensitives would not help her cause in any way.

The whole story in the cutscene revolved around her being chosen (to join the Jedi) and her brother rejected because he was not strong enough in the Force.  Maybe the holocron contains some sort of knowledge of how to activate latent force abilities in those NOT chosen by either Jedi nor Sith.  Darth Null made children of the Emperor. The Emperor instilled part of himself in them - that could be awakened years later. In the same way, these "low-force" people could have force abilities awakened which would make them a formidable warrior.

Although elsewhere in StarWars lore, Mandalorians historically eschewed force abilities as "cheating" - they admired Darth Maul because he beat their leader WITHOUT using the force, unlike their historical foes the Jedi. But Heta is not a traditional Mandalorian, by going against Shae. So she might be open to giving her group something that would give them an "edge".

Oh great, why don't we destroy the Jedi Order again while it's just beginning to rebuild after having its temple destroyed on Tython, which they established when they were just beginning to rebuild after having their temple destroyed on Coruscant, which they had to establish after the first jedi purge.

Here's my theory:

It's a mind breaker weapon.  It would link the Nul story (where we first see Sahar snooping) with the Heta stuff.  It's Nuls tool to wipe people's memories and make children of the emperor.

Spoiler

Thats why Shae is missing in the latest chapter.  Shes maybe recovering or being mind broken as we speak and next we see her will be on holo kneeling to Heta giving her the title of Mandolore, praising her, etc.  Really cringe domination stuff cause Heta wants to humiliate Shae and destroy her credibility of Mandalore.

Could be wrong of course this is just a theory.  But if it's true it links it all together and keeps us within the "Legacy of the Sith" as well.

I hope not. That would be really cringe. I have hopes for something a bit more tangible, and a superweapon would fit well. Or they may do both, but so far my bet is on a superweapon, as what you suggest does no seem to be something that fits Heta's MO as we know it from the current story. Mandalorians don't seem to be into that kinda stuff, but a superweapon seems to fit the bill nicely, as mandalorians loves their weapons...

Didn't Grandpa Malgus say that the Machine the Holocron was in was for the purpose of finding force sensitives?

Wouldn't that mean that the Holocron itself has plans on how to rebuild the machine and record the locations of where to find these force sensitives?
