PTS won't log in

So I have been trying for HOURS to log into the PTS. Before anyone asks YES I know how I have played there before. But now it just does an update and then nothing. This is messed up. I have been a loyal subscriber for over 10 years and now I am going to miss out on a rare mount due to a tech problem on SWTOR's end. How is this remotely fair? Every player I know across 2 servers and 4 guilds are ALL having the same issue.

define then nothing.  does it patch and then nothing happens when you hit the play button?  if so, download and install DirectX 9 and then it should load.

Checking the 'compatibility' box from Properties on the launcher icon fixed this problem for me. 

I was, at first, getting no servers when trying to get on the PTS. Now, I can log in as was possible in past years when testing something.

Now just need a warzone to pop this afternoon. Have the other 2 vulptilla mounts, and never thought I'd get the Opal one. 😀

Where is the compatability box?  I have an issue where the I click "play" to access the PTS and nothing happens.

If you right click on your launcher icon, you'll see 'Properties'. Click on that, then you'll notice several boxes. Select the top of the one that says Compatibility, then click the box at the top of the Compatibility tab.
