Sazodeha
I say this constructively in hopes that moving into the future this game will expand and thrive, I think you guys did a great job, the game looks amazing (although I would have preferred more realistic like Skyrim over the cartoonie feel) but there is in my opinion a huge flaw long term. This game is way to linear. Every time I make a new character I am running the same planets, the same missions, over and over, and ultimately it will get so redundant it will bore me out of the game. I suggest that it evolve to where you can run the missions if you want, but there needs to be more freedom. General areas for level ranges. Being forced into the same thing over and over is already wearing on me and its only 2 weeks in. it seems the model for this game is pretty similar to Mass Effect and Dragon age. I hope you can work your way out off this box. This game has a lot of potential, but as it is now I cannot see it being successful months down the line. other suggestions: (which I am sure you all have heard) -the interface is clumsy, allow for movement of hot-bars -create more instance type missions that you are ported into. Like what they do in Lord of the rings online -allow a hotkey for selecting and picking up/interacting with items in the environment, this will make it easier for those resources that are hidden under graphic trash or behind walls. those are just a couple of suggestions, but again, I dont know why you guys at Dev are trying to re-invent the wheel, MMOs have been around for awhile now and a few out there have it right, but with some improvements this one could be a lot better. my 2 cents. Naroga
You declare the game dead without giving it a chance to release even one patch? How do you know these things aren't in the works? How do you know there isn't a UI overhaul coming in a month or two? In 6 months time, we'll see. Heck, in 2 months time at least we'll have a better idea than now. I don't think people know how to wait and see. I am having fun but others are not. For those who are not, I am sorry. However I will continue to enjoy the game, if/when the time comes that I no longer enjoy the game I will quietly quit. I won't whine and moan, I won't even throw a fit. Ill just leave. I already feel that I have gotten my money's worth from the game.

Grammarye
People have said the same about many games. Often such cries are translated into 'I am trying to find some way of justifying my own desire not to play'. I find this very sad - have the courage of your convictions to just say that. I don't see this game as long-term, either I firmly believe that it will be free to play, by the end of 2012 Then why are you here paying for it now and making thread after thread about how bad the game is? Surely you can wait a year? Surely if you truly believe that there is no value in sticking around? Edited December 30, 2011 by Grammarye

Durcbjorn
Are you kidding? people aren't even doing Ilum yet because most are in their 20's/30's. Once a lot of players get to 50, many will reroll alts to experience the other stories (8 stories, not to mention 16 different advanced classes, each with 3 different skill lines), and for the ones that want to stick to their 50's more.... I'm sure we'll start to see expansions of space combat/travel and more max level worlds to explore. They could make entire planets of group/raid content to explore. I'm sure once a lot are 50 too, they'll add more fluff content. That's how wow has done it, a lot of this fluffy stuff in wow has only been in the last few years to appease all the max level masses. Man the first few years were pretty bland, hence the term vanilla wow lol. Not to mention I'm curious to see how they flesh out the legacy system. There's a lot else I've heard talk of that I can't recall atm.

Grrl
Warhammer has been free to play for a while But there are so little people online that you cannot finish class quest where you need to dominate map sectors (or so i read on the forums). Bubba_Jett
I get tired of people complaining in these posts. Yes, its re-skinned WOW with light-sabers, No its not an open world, Yes its much more of a single player or co-op game, Yes its got all kinds of bugs, Yes its a quest grinder, Yes its not very innovative, yes the graphics are sub par. If you want innovation and good graphics then go somewhere else. Go hang out with GW2 fanboys and kiss ArenaNet's butt. Some of just want a mediocre game based in the Star Wars universe to play. Bioware is a business and businesses do things to make money, not produce quality products. Sure they could have made some better changes to the game, but that would cut into their bottom line. deneeve
Agreed. I can't picture myself making more than 2 characters...one sith side, one jedi side. The leveling is just way too linear and the story quests just make up too little of the overall questing experience. It's a shame because initially I was so excited and ready to roll tons of alts. Now, I definitely will not be doing so.

The endless free trial for warhammer is limited to level 10 of 40 (50+ now?) and RvR rank of teir one. To access all servers and anything beyond that you HAVE to sub. Its the same thing as wow 20 level free to play trial.
Glockenspiel
I've run one character up to 39, and skipped 3 planets on the way. It will be great to come back with an alt and pick these up, not to mention rolling with the other faction. Honestly, I've found that there's a bunch of reasons to run through this with a couple of more characters. In my opinion, this game is not linear assuming your comfortable skipping under leveled content. Enjoy the PVP, space combat, crafting and PVE and there will be a bunch of content left.
