Valanze
I think they said there was problems with it but that it is being added in the future. I look forward to it as I am very anti jaggy.

Kharik
did you seriously have to ask a question that has been asked, discussed, and answered a zillion times already????????? Vitellius
I dare someone to give me a rational answer to this. It was there. There was a problem. It's being fixed. It will come when it's fixed. That will be soon. What more do you want?
Kaphik
I dare someone to give me a rational answer to this. They like when people make posts about the missing AA function in the game. Every time someone makes a post like yours, they take a drink. Lots of very drunk people in Austin right now.
JonnyBigBoss
Because the game isn't very polished or feature-rich.
Shadysketchy
There's no Anti-Aliasing in the Video Options, because SWTOR has FPS issues for a lot of people, and having AA would result in even poorer performance for those people, so it was left out, to keep the game playable for people that don't go through their options
xRydisx
Because we have voice acting. Didn't leave enough in budget for a halfway decent engine
Grrl
It was there. There was a problem. It's being fixed. It will come when it's fixed. That will be soon. What more do you want? I think that there is something seriously wrong when you have development of 4 years and AA is not in the launch version of the game. This is a very sad state ... especially when you got a so called monster budget of 130 million bucks. Maybe just maybe they should look again at the people who are responsible for this. This would be my top priority now. And i can honestly say that for the MONEY we have to pay that thsi feature is a given. Otherwise make it F2P then you can get away with this kind of "development". This development state is a slap in the face of every STAR WARS FAN!
Ndru
This was something brought up numerous times during beta in more than a few builds. Believe it or not, performance was a lot worse in beta, so hopefully they will add it in a patch or two. Till then turn it on in the .ini file I guess. Sure, it's easy for armchair devs to look at the bottom line then cherry pick which features should have been "top priority". You need to lighten up because we all know the day AA is in, there will be another 100 issues you can copy and paste this canned response to. Just substitute AA for....UI, open world, space combat, chat bubbles, better AH, LFG ,LFD, damage meters, dressing room....etc. etc.
Amarinth
You can enable it if you want to, through the INI file, at your own risk. One of the problems with the current AA is that it botches up the displaying of holograms and lightsabers in the cutscenes if you have AA enabled and Bloom disabled. To add it to the general options they would have to make it so that AA cannot be turned ON unless Bloom is also set to ON, as otherwise we'd have tons of people crying in the forums about missing holograms. And if they did add it so that AA can only be enabled with Bloom, then we'd have dozens of people crying in the forums why they can't enable AA without Bloom turned on and yammer on about that stupid restriction. You really can never win as a game company, because as per Murphy's laws "there's no pleasing everyone all the time, there will always be someone who doesn't like it". Just my 2xAA cents. Mr_Crueak
if you have an ATI video card it can be forced on through the CCC, nvidia users will have to use the INI hack.
