woganator Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Would be swell to increase the capacity for ignore legacy. At current capacity it says you have to remove some legacy names to add new; which doesn't make sense to me; why would you want to trade one jerk face for another instead of ditching both. Thank you for the consideration.
BRKMSN Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 I often wonder what criteria people use to determine who goes on the list. I guess I understand why a player would "ignore" someone that was harassing them. After that, though, I don't really see how someone can max their list unless other people simply being online is troublesome. Many people have come and gone over the years and it may not be necessary to keep them on your list. Spam bots, for example, shouldn't be on your ignore list. report them, get them squelched and let them get removed through the process. Turn off general chat every now and then.

woganator Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Most of mine are from ignoring the Unranked PVP Heroes. It gets annoying quickly to me as soon as something goes in the other teams' favor, the UPHs start complaining that their team sucks, need to git gud, etc. etc. It's an annoyance I don't want to deal with. You can report them for harassment, but still get distracted by their nonsense for the duration. Not the biggest deal of course, but would be nice to be able to not have to deal with the nonsense. I play the game to have fun and get away from the nonsense of real life; so don't want to deal with poopoo heads if don't have to. It's just a battery drain dealing with those types of critters.

In PvP, you'll still be grouped with people on your ignore list. You might as well just close the chat window instead of filling up your ignore list. There are definitely drama queens in PvP, but I just laugh when somebody rage-whispers me after a match. It doesn't happen that often, but it has happened. I don't really care what they think. I doubt they care that I think people that whine in chat non-stop during a WZ are useless.
woganator Posted July 15, 2022 Author Posted July 15, 2022 I normally would; but often times the people still trying are able to turn it around and re-cap things; then may need to see if someone is calling for help. Would be neat-o / probably a nightmare to code for, if you could like, temporarily squelch the DQs. Lol, give em a 24 hour time out or something.
