just got back to game after 7.0 release.

why does Taskmaster set have to disable after level 75? its just a PVE set that amplifies your companion when doing story stuff.

has anyone suggested to devs to keep this?

if not let me be the first.

thanks.

It's very unlikely they'd change this. They went out of their way in 7.0 to get rid of the 306 gear set bonuses, particularly those that benefited players that played mostly "solo" content (to make the game harder for the 0.5% of the playerbase that were worried their level 75 character wasn't being challenged by the low level quests on Tython). With previous gear upgrades, the set bonuses worked up until you hit the new max level. This time they made them go away after gaining 1 level. There was no downside to leaving them alone but they changed them anyway. Now they are going to take things a step further and penalize you if you don't wear level 80 gear at level 80 in level synced content (though I suppose this could be a way for the "game is too easy" people to make play more difficult for themselves, if that was really what they wanted to do anyway). With so little new content, the gear grind is all there is so they have to force people to participate in it to "keep them busy".

We're coming up on 6 months in from the actual launch (8 months from the proposed launch) of 7.0 and they still haven't fixed the end story flashpoint (It's still loaded with so many bugs, the workaround apparently is to keep running it over and over until you get lucky enough not to hit the bugs). Sometimes it feels like 7.0 introduced more bugs than all the other previous expansions combined, and precious few of them have been fixed. They also didn't update the post level 50 content to match the massive character power reduction 7.0 introduced. Some of the KoTET and KoTFE chapters (in Story mode) went from very easy to very hard basically overnight. Sure they can be completed if you are overlevelled and overgeared but playing them on-level (which you should be able to do with only moderate effort) has gotten quite complicated.

All in all 7.0 has been a huge disappointment for something that was touted as a "year long celebration"

It's weird. I ran the new FP on a Consular/Shadow (my very first character, the one who took three years to finish her class story) just after release, and had none of the bugs. The next night I tried it on my Warrior/Jugg (this one: https://i.imgur.com/HV8WAXu.jpg - my character is on the left, with Lana on the right) who also took Assassin but didn't use it on that run. She got nuked repeatedly by the suck-in-and-instakill bug. For Kylarina, the tardy Consular/Shadow, DM used the suck-in ability, but Kylarina didn't get instakilled by it.

Just a couple of days ago, poor Xalari (the one one the left) ran it again, but as an Assassin, and DM didn't cast the suck-in ability at all, so Xalari got through it just fine.

It's buggy, and even the bugs have bugs. Go figure.

then we should get an implant that has the same features, which is to simply amplify your comp's attack and speeed significantly.

why no bw think of this?
