as title have anyone knows that when will the update come out?

Follow up note. The team wanted to express their thanks to all the players who streamed/provided VODs throughout this PTS cycle. The insight and feedback gained from them was very helpful.

As I posted before, 7.1 is currently targeting mid-summer. That has not changed.

This was the last phase of 7.1 PTS.

There is useful information in the Dev Tracker

Mid summer is supposed to be June 24th, so basically any time between now and August 31st in Bioware time.

That being said, 7.1 is already on a several month long delay and we haven't had any new content or a dev livestream talking about the large quantity of promised content we were supposed to be getting throughout the non-existent 10th year celebration, so who knows at this point.

Can't wait for 7.2's PvP update early 2023 with the 11 year anniversary celebration! :D

The first day of summer was June 21st, That puts August 21st as about the middle of summer.

Summer began June 21 and ends September 22-23. Mid summer would likely be around the first week or so of August. We know they just ended the final PTS stage of 7.1 and the content usually comes out 2-3 weeks after that. So even from a pessimistic viewpoint, we're probably looking at the 1st week of August at the latest.

Another version of the beginning and end of summer is 1st June to 31st August (rather than solstice to equinox), in which case "mid summer" would correspond to the middle part of July.

What system is that? We have 4 seasons with each season lasting 3 months starting mid month.

This one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Season#Meteorological (I feel that I should point out that from 1 June to 31 August, inclusive, is, indeed *exactly* three months - all of June, all of July, and all of August. Sounds like three months to me.)

The solstice/equinox division is called "Astronomical", and has the oddity that "Midsummer's Day" (summer solstice = June 21/22 sort of time in the Northern Hemisphere) occurs at the beginning of (astronomical) summer (summer solstice to autumnal equinox).

They never expressly said mid-summer on Earth. Maybe they're waiting for things to warm up on Hoth or Ilum. Who knows?

After all, we were going to get so much with the release of 7.0 during the 2021 holiday season and throughout the year long celebration that was planned according to the devs, and look how that turned out.

Summer solstice may be the longest day of the year, but it is unlikely to be the hottest day, which typically occurs in true midsummer (late July-August).
