Gericke Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 I do not know about others but I prefer to use mounts that match outfits and outfits that match the local. For example a refind look for Tython and a sensible speeder. On Nar Shaddaa I have a more roguish look and a flashy speeder. On Hoth I have colt weather gear and a Tauntaun. It would be great if an (optional) mount slot got added to each outfit and then an unlocable (legacy) outfit mount ability added so it can be dragged to the hotbar. You can then click to activate the mount you have assigned for that outfit (or a default one if none has been set).
WHTJunior Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 I believe setting each outfit to a loadout would work, since they each have their own action bar settings. That's not the most effective way, but it would likely get the job done, in case they don't implement mounts-per-outfit-slot.

It doesn't quite do the job, because then it's a mount per *loadout* rather than per outfit. So yes, a slot in the outfit page to put a mount, and a special ability button (similar to "random mount") that launches the outfit-linked mount if there is one (and complains if not, since it is in no way obvious what the "default" mount should be).
